Surprisingly well done
This is a surprisingly well done adaptation of Genesis and Exodus. I was pleased with how they handled a lot of the stories and they did a really good job of tracing the genealogy of the patriarchs. The one issue I had was when Pharoah asked Moses to pray for him... it was a weird use of artistic liberty since it contradicts his hardened heart and, a few scenes later, he went after Isreal anyways. That's my only gripe; otherwise a good manga adaptation.

Love this book.Came in great condition.I read the whole thing in about a day.As someone who loves manga this was a great way to reread the Bible.I will definitely be purchasing the rest of the books in this series. My only complaint is it did come two days later than expected.

Well done
My 9 & 10 year olds really enjoy these. They love graphic novels so I figured I would try these out on them. They stick very close to scripture and the kids find them enjoyable to read. Get the whole set!

Manga Mutiny Review
I'm a big fan of the first two Christian Manga books in this series Manga Messiah and Manga Metamorphosis (both 5 stars!). This book though solid, wasn't quite as good as the previous two. I think the writers covered a lot of ground but maybe they covered too much. I think the strenght of the first two books was that they concentrated for the most part on a single protagonist (Jesus in Messiah, and Paul in Metamorphosis). Because of this we got a chance to really get intimate with the historical figures and as a result we were invested in what happened to them...more so than those in Mutiny. It's of course not the point to read these books as a regular comic book but as a tool for missionary work as well. The art and production value of course is once again top notch! I would love to see books on Job, Revelations, The Prophets and judges as well. I pray that more books in this series keep coming!

An interesting medium
The art is pretty alright- generic, but not bad. The story is easy to understand and pretty accurate. The only changes are some omissions, like there's no mention of Ham's curse or Jacob putting his concubines' families in front of his wives' when he meets Esau again. It didn't gloss over everything, though; The Sodomites and Lot's daughters are included.

I love how these books give the reader a good overview ...
My 9 year old son loves these! He cannot put them down. This is the first of 3 books based on the Old Testament and goes from Creation to Israel's exodus from Egypt (There are 2 books based on the NT, as well). I love how these books give the reader a good overview of Scripture and show how people and events are all connected. From what I've seen, the books are Biblically sound.
