Quality is good

Very helpful if using in wooden fixtures and need to take apart some day for maybe repairs or upgrade etc but not very durable made from very thin sheet easily bendable the D-nut rendering it non useable, could have been made thicker as to have some error margin (like over screwing etc) when screwing in wood. Keep in mind if you over screw you will break the D nut and wont be able to pull it out of wood. Other than that there is no compatible screw listed I have to go to shop to shop to search for the right screw that fits.

Very used item but needs to be more thick and strong. All the inserts broke just 2mm before completion. This is because the hex head is low gauge. Item like this needs to be thicker and stronger because threads are deep and gapped.

Drill with a 6mm bit a 10mm hole into the wood to secure the d nut.

Received a good product. Well packed. Threaded inserts are always better than directly directly driving screws in wood. The biggest advantage is that the screws can be removed and re-inserted in these threaded inserts without the fear of stripping the screw hole which happens regularly when used directly on wood.
