Silicone Scar Sheets, Medical Grade Scar Removal Tape for Keloid,C Section, Surgery, Burn et, Safe and Painless (1.5 Meters/ 4 Months Supply)

This is a reel of soft, flexible silicone tape that you cut to length required with scissors. You peel the tape off the backing paper and apply it to the scar area.The tape is very soft and flexible and the adhesive is effective so the tape stays in place but doesn’t pull or irritate the skin/scar. You barely notice you are wearing it, no real different to wearing a plaster, just the tape is a little thicker. It protects the scar and seems to moisturised the skin under it somewhat too.When you come to take it off, it pulls away easily without any tugging on the skin or pain.Of course, it’s hard to say how much effect it has without having two scars to compare, one with the tape, one without. But I have been using it on a scar by my collarbone where I had an incision for a pacemaker and by now the scar is very flat and hardly visible if you didn’t know it was there. How much of this was natural healing and his much was the tape? It’s hard to say but my gut instinct is that the tape did contribute to it. Certainly, when I took the tape off, the skin under it always felt very soft and moist and soothed.It is flesh-coloured tape - as long as your flesh is pink! Does anyone make this stuff for black or brown skin, I wonder? If not, it’s something of an oversight.

This 4cm width roll of skin coloured scat tape is made of really thin and pliable silicone. It is simple to use and can be cut with sharp scissors into small pieces or shaped. This tape doesn't stay stuck for long and the corners start to un-peel so they have to be pressed down regularly - rounding the corners seems to help a bit. Although these are skin coloured they are still very obvious if stuck to the uncovered arm or leg. I use this scar tape for my mosquito and horse fly bites as they can cause a lot of scarring on my thin skin. The tape helps to keep the skin from drying out and protecting it from scrapes.

This has excellent sticking power, can be reused I’d say up to three times before replacing you can wash them with soapy water and leave to dry but eventually the edges with get fluff on them and then you have to replace, it also has tear off section which isn’t useful as they end up splitting when wearing. It’d be better without and just cut to size, other than that a good tape but a little pricey for how much you get.

I tried Silicon Scar Sheets to help with scarring following surgery on multiple areas. I had previously only used the micropore surgical tape provided by the hospital, however the silicon scar tape felt more comfortable and secure to wear under compression garments.Having a large area to cover, I cut the strip in half for certain areas to cut down on cost and this worked equally as well. With the strips matching my skin tone it was barely noticeable on exposed skin, which was a huge plus.I can see an improvement in my incision areas so would recommend this product.

To me, this hasn’t done anything to my scars.I followed all instructions but still nothing :-(

Incredibly quick & easy to use silicone scar sheets on a roll, each sheet is pre-cut on a perforated sheet but can also be easily cut to size if better suited.They have made a huge difference to the reduction of my scars, one of which used to cause me much discomfort when any amount of pressure was applied, I believe this is quite a common occurrence as scar tissue can cause nerve damage, since using these I completely forget it’s even there.Any discomfort I felt from the scar has completely gone along with the bulk of it’s ugly appearance, the discomfort it used to cause me was the key issue I wanted to improve, the improved appearance is an added bonus.I am super impressed with the results these have given me, it’s actually quite life changing given that my painful scar was situated on my right hand & using that hand would always hurt, I’m now back to 2 fully functioning pain free hands!

Whilst it's easy to use and sticks very well to the skin, it does absolutely nothing! I had a surgery back in April and bought this recently as I was hoping to improve the scar. Very disappointed and can't even return as I've used it. Waste of money - do not buy!
