The connection of the wire and battery terminal was loose on my old cable. This one was tight and of good quality.

This part will work for all 2014-2016 Gen1 Cruze, regardless of engine type, 1.8NA, 1.4T, 2.0TD.Make sure you order the extra bolt for the small wire that bolts on to the main battery connector.It is part # 11561025.Took about five minutes to remove the old one and install the new one. If your cruze is having stabilitrack or any other odd electrical issues it is a must to replace the neg battery cable. There was an issue in the original production of them when they were installed.You can also find install videos on YouTube on how to do this. 10mm socket ratchet and a small flathead screw driver

Bought this to replace an old negative cable, which was shorted. It caused stabilitrak and power steering issues/key wouldn’t turn over ( w/ brand new battery). Easy installation and voilà, just like that all my issues were solved :)

Worked good fit good no issues, 2012 Chebby Cruze. Old cable had higher resistance. Make sure to clean up all your grounds on the body. You'll need an m6 bolt for this, it doesn't come with it. Made in China but I do believe it is oem

Fits great, you will have to get the side bolt separately. We just doctored my old bolt and put it on this new cable. Now I'm hoping this is REALLY going to fix my electrical problem (which I'm pretty sure it will). The radio turns off & back on randomly, windshield wipers also come on by themselves, message comes up saying, 'Service Stabili Trak' followed by a Traction Control message. ABS, traction control, battery & steering wheel light all come on and another light I can't think of right now... The small screen also tells me to roll the driver side window down and back up. If I don't do this immediately, usually, the car turns off & there is no power at all & will not release my key. We then pop the hood & mess with the negative battery cable & all is well again ...for a few weeks. Anyway, Chevy acknowledged this problem (technically not a recall) and was going to fix it ...in about 3-4 weeks. So, I thought why not fix it myself? After putting the new cable, this problem did happen again asking me to roll the window down & back up then it was fine again. Saved me a $145 on a local shop to "dig for the short" plus probably another 100-200 and something dollars for the part(s) & labor. The wife of the mechanic was still trying to insist that I need a new battery (from them, of course) but my battery is still brand new smh***Update***If your Chevy Cruze is doing what mine was, buy the cable and replace it ASAP. This cord was definitely the problem causing all that stabili trac issue I described up there. Once we put this one in, all that craziness never happened again.You're welcome 😉

I bought this item as I read in the forums Chevy Cruze LTZ had defects in the negative terminal when they were produced causing stabiltrak to prompt on the dashboard, cut out power steering, blinking dashboard etc.I had this installed because of a leaking outlet water valve and I can report I do not have any more instances of this happening. Other signs of this were a build up of material near the battery terminal as well.Thank for the OEM GM piece! Good purchase and holding so far. Only been about 2 weeks but my flashing/cut out was happening each time I drove before.
