Great outdoor lights
I bought these to run along the bottom of the short wall that is one side of my driveway to help reversing in at night and in bad weather.Had them in for a few weeks now and they are great.I bought 6m of cheap plastic wire trunking and screwed the channel of that to the wall and then stuck the light srip in there using the adhesive backing, then at the top of the drive I pulled up the block paving and buried the cable about 1" below that. I had to lengthen the wire by a couple of metres to reach across the drive as it's not massively long. There is only one battery in the power box but so far it is enough to power the whole strip all night and if it struggles in the winter it's just four screws to undo it and put a replacement fully charged battery in while I take the original one out and gove it a full charge in the house, but I don't know if that will be required. There are several different light patterns, and they are controlled by a button on the back that cycles to the next one each time you press it, I have it set to just 'on', so when it gets dark, the whole strip light up without any of that flashing nonsense, and they are not too bright to annoy anyone, but bright enough to allow me to easily see the wall and floor when reversing in.Very happy purchase and would not hesitate buying again if I had the need** Update after 5 months of useage**I charged the battery fully in the house when I first fitted them and they have been working fine since. We just came back from a week away to find them not coming on at night now.I took the box apart to find the terminals where the wires were soldered were corroded. I could probably have guessed that would happen, so I will re solder and put some liquid gasket arpund the edge of the box when I put it back together to prevent it happening again

Vivid blue light that lasts.
I have put this solar strip in the garden to mark the edge of a wall. The light comes on as it gets dark and stays on for hours. It is February as i write which is not known for its long days of sunshine. It gets dark before 1700 and the light stays on often until midnight. This is outlasting most of the other solar lights I have around the garden and on the house. I have not stuck the strip in place as i may want to move it later so i am not aware of how well the adhesive strip works? Why only 4 for value for money? Well i just want to buy more, more cheaply.Bought a second strip of solar lights 06.03.23. They have been in the garden for two nights and look fantastic. Will add more solar as funds allow.

Unimpressed - faulty unit supplied
Totally inconsistent. I ordered a white set for my garden and a blue set as a housewarming present for someone, and then I thought I’d get them some of the little blue ball solar lights from another seller to complement these. Big mistake. The white ones seem fine, not mounted yet but checked and working. I’ll reserve judgement on these for now.The blue ones, the gift, are terrible. The mode button is broken so they are stuck on one mode. The on off button hasn’t been fitted properly so it’s really ‘deep’ and super hard to turn on and off. They are also nowhere near as bright as the white ones, but assume this could improve with a charge. They won’t get the opportunity! They are going back, and now I’m stuck with the stocking filler as a main gift as it will take too long to exchange.......but I CAN’T exchange them! To add insult to injury, having received a faulty product I am not allowed to exchange them as they were bought on a lightening deal. So I have to return them, wait for a refund, then repurchase them at a higher cost. To quote Julia Roberts ‘BIG mistake, HUGE’ - if a global corporation like Amazon can’t manage to carry out an exchange and instead insist on turning the supply of faulty products into a farcical return and repurchase at higher cost drama I just won’t bother. She’s getting the cheap ball ones and a bottle of fizz now - too much hassle.A 50/50 chance of functionality (remember I bought two!), just really isn’t the quality expected. I’ve had better quality/functioning controls on solar lights from the pound shop!Disappointing. Avoid.
