If you are using this to mould liquids like eggs, they dont take the shape of your typical pan. The slight bow in the pan will cause these to leak. Make sure to use it on something flat and hot.

Love these ring molds!!!I guess the trick is to get your pan hot before adding ingredients. I also put the ring in my pan as it was getting hot as well. It worked perfectly, and I was thoroughly impressed.No leaking issues at all. These would be a lot better if they were smaller. A griddle or a 12” skillet is required if you want to cook two eggs or two pancakes. I bought these for eggs and I should have returned them. I tried making pancakes but failed. Again, my 10” fry pans were too small, so rather than bringing out my 12” cast iron skillet I tried to make one pancake at a time. It was easier for me to make them without the ring. Having four rings would need a griddle. I will donate them to Goodwill.

THE fluffiest pancakes I have ever made.The people that gave this a bad review might not know how to make pancakes. A properly made pancake batter shouldn't be runny. If it is, yes, the batter will seep through. Let the batter sit for about 5 mins before pouring directly on the pan into the mold to thicken. Also, make sure your griddle is hot, this will also make sure the batter doesn't seep through. My pan curves down around the edges so I made sure to put the molds in the center of the pan and not around the edge to further help with any leakage. It works perfectly.I did make the mistake first time around by over filling it, so I overcooked them a little bit my first batch ever to make sure the center was cooked. I recommend filling halfway or a third of the way to avoid that, and it will also avoid a sloppy flip.Perfect for homemade mcgriddles!

The rings give a plastic / silicone taste to eggs cooked inside them. So, had to return as they are useless to me.

I was pleasantly surprised how well these rings worked while making egg McMuffins. The eggs did not leak out under the rings while cooking like several other products that I've tried in the past. You won't be disappointed.
