This mirror was and is the perfect answer if you have a hollow door or any place in need of a mirror but a spot that can not stand a lot of weight. So, about Acrylic mirrors, first, have no fears about the quality of the image you will see in this mirror. It displays your image as well as a glass mirror and with a bit of careful care, meaning non abuse of it's finish with rough abrasives or cloths, it is the answer for your desires of a decent looking mirror of size but light in weight, perfect for hanging in those iffy spots. Not fancy enough! Update. Still awful, tried gluing it to a piece of wood, to counter act the flimsy nature of the mirror; did not work. Now that the mirror is perfectly flat against the wood, it is clear to see the defects. There are individual mirrors within the mirror, some make you look tall others fat; you cannot look at the mirror without getting dizzy. I am now throwing $77 into the trash; cannot begin to express my anger at poor product and poor customer service. Run away. Not much more than shinny foil. It looks like a fun house mirror, makes you taller or thinner; could not be more flimsy. Contacted seller to return item, would cost $25 to return a $70 defective product. If I had purchased this at Walmart for $15, I would not be upset, but to spend $70 for this trash is upsetting. Do not buy, they do not stand behind their product. We received the mirror and initially I was very disappointed in the quality because the image was very distorted and was not mirror-like at all. Then as I was researching into different mirrors to buy ( intent was to send this one back), I realized that there is a film on it which needs to be peeled off to reveal the mirror surface. I didn't see of mention of this anywhere on this site, nor on the product itself and only realized by reading the description for a similar product on another site. Now that we've peeled the coating off, it actually looks like the mirror that I was hoping for. It's perfect for my little guys playroom and we are very pleased with it. We used very durable double sided sticky tape to initially adhere it to the wall before putting the screws in the pre-drilled holes. We did this, after reading a lot of the comments on here about people having it warp after putting the screws in. Seems to have done the trick and we have no warps or distortion. Good product, just peel that coating off! Ugggh

Mirrors are a terrific tool, and can teach children body positivity, spacial relations, and are just plain fun! I bought a regular framed mirror for my dear little friends and then just hung it low enough for them to use. Of course the frame was broken after several months. Thankfully the glass didn’t break and no one was hurt. This “unbreakable” mirror is bigger, safer, and was not much more expensive than the original. The extra $’s for safety are well spent!

I installed this in my garage gym. First I simply screwed the mirror onto the wall at the provided holes and it was really bad. I figured that it was just because the mirror is really thin and drywall is not very flat. So I bonded the mirror to a piece of very flat wood and then screwed that onto the wall. This helped but it is still fun house mirror unless you are within foot from the mirror. As you move back it is very distorted. This is really just a subpar product with poor return policy. The picture attached is after being bonded to the wood and then installed on the wall.
