I bought this to add to my cats food. It mixes in easily and she doesn't even know its in there. I can tell its doing her some good. She's more active and alert at the young age of 10! The container is larger than I expected so this will last for awhile. Very happy with my purchase.

Add to home cooked pet food, dog and cat. Cats must have taurine in the diet as they can not produce naturally. Most food we feed cats is too low in taurine (commercial cat food has minimal amount recommended). If your cat has low energy try adding some taurine to food daily, you may find a new cat! It's safe also as extra is excreted in urine/feces, no toxicity to the body in recommend amounts. Dogs also can benefit from taurine especially if they have heart issues. Best you check with vet before adding to a heart issues dog diet. But again it's generally safe excreted safely from the body via urine/feces

I got these to supplement my 2 dogs' homemade food, as one of them was diagnosed with DCM - she was panting all the time with heavy breathing but since giving this supplement to her, she has stopped and is back to normal. Highly recommend for anyone who feeds their dog homemade food to supplement with this, as taurine deficiency is a leading cause of DCM for dogs on homemade food.

I use this to supplement my dogs' diet. It does clump a fair amount and needs to be broken up from time to time. I have bought other brands that didn't do this, but they were so much more expensive relative to this one that it isn't worth it for me. I have several dogs needing this supplement, so I'll happily break up the clumps and save the money.

Would recommend. Does start to clump pretty quickly. I added a desiccant sachet and that immediately resolved the issue. Lasts ages.
