Great idea book
My son (10 yo) is a wanna be DIYer and learning as much as he can from his dad. He loves all the projects in the book, and he has been able to build several on his own already. Love this book!

This book is one of the most creative and fun project books I’ve seen in years—and I’m a connoisseur of these types of science & engineering project books. What I love best is that the projects are not just exciting, they’re also actually feasible. You can literally get a roll of duct tape out of your closet and start building these immediately. Not only has the author carefully curated these projects with an eye towards making them accessible, but the photography and tech art are incredibly clear and straightforward—enough to make a LEGO or IKEA manual writer jealous.

An AMAZING Book that both delights and is super functional
An artist friend who worked in Sculpture and is now in her later 90’s is the most recent addict to Lance’s books, she made kinetic art when she got the Rubber Band Engineer and now is creating Duct Tape sculpture inspired by Lance. This book is of such fun and quality, we literally bought 25 for Christmas presents and then had to order more for yet more people. The projects are real, they work, and super fun.

Grandson loves this book.
He made a working manure spreader with duct tape from chapter 7.

Great gift for a young budding engineer
My 11-year-old nephew LOVES projects... and his mama loves anything that keeps him away from electronic devices. Saw this recommended on a best gift list and picked up a copy for his Christmas book (I gift him a book every Christmas). He thought the projects looked cool and I can't wait to see what he builds on his school breaks this coming year!

Way too complicated
The projects in this book are not fun little ideas...they are all major undertakings! (ie. a canoe, desk, hammock) So if you are looking to build furniture out of duct tape, then this is the book for you. On a positive note, the book is well made with good directions and pictures...which you will def need if you decide to build a canoe. :). Good luck

Entertaining & inspiring
I bought this for one project inside. Once I flipped through the book, I realised that I -want- to create more. I better invest in duct tape manufacturer's stock.

Fun but more for teens and adults
Got this for my tweens to help with the lock down. Some projects were cool but most are meant for adults.
