The pepper mill is sturdy.

Three years later, it's still going strong. I rarely pick up my big traditional mill anymore, not when cooking, for sure. Got addicted to one-handed grinding with the similar, but cheaper, plastic version which I glued back together once before it gave out after 2 1/2 years [dropping all the innards into the stew, just like those reviewers said.] This unit has a more rugged construction with its solid plunger, is a bit larger with more capacity, and has a solid feel to it. The 'grind' is a nice medium size. So far, a solid kitchen gismo and a pleasure to use.

what a worthless piece of machinery!

Doesn't produce much pepper and isn't adjustable.

I use it in the kitchen and on the table, it is nice to present it and it facilitates the work in the kitchen
