This cross is a nice way for someone to carry their loved one close. It looks nice, it’s well made, and the inscription on the side is sweet. The top loop where the chain goes through comes off so you can easily fill it. It comes with a tiny siphon and spoon for easy filling, and the top went back on easily and properly after filling (as long as you don’t overfill). The chain is long and sturdy. I highly recommend.

However, I regret to say that the holding area inside the cross did not retain a substantial amount of ashes. Furthermore, the chain that came with the cross was quite thin, so I had to purchase a thicker one. Additionally, please make sure to use super glue or LOCTITE to securely attach the chain to the cross. I would have given this necklace a 5 star review except for the issue with the thin chain.

If you're reading this review looking at this product, firstly, I am sorry for your loss. I got this for my nephew for his Nana's ashes. It comes with a little funnel and a little tool to tighten it up with and a tiny little spoon. I put a piece paper down to catch anything dropped. Try to find the smallest particles so you don't clog the funnel and I lay do a little at a time.
