I got a small bottle of this when in the hospital and loved how well it worked so muchso that I just HAD to have me some more of it. I have such a difficult time trying to find good lotions that soak in without leaving a greasy feeling behind. THIS is it!! I thought I was ordering unscented but got fresh scent instead, which I am not that fond of. The scent is a wee bit on the heavy side and takes your breath away a little upon application. That is why I gave it only four stars. Also, I will note that there is a slight difference in how well it soaks in between the unscented (like water into a thirsty sponge), and unscented (like water in a NON-thirsty sponge. I'm not sure if it is from the fragrance oils that would have been used or what but there ya have it. Still a good product though either way!

I have used the previous version of this product since 1978. It originally was provided by medical supply houses to hospitals. When my wife had our first son, a bottle of April Fresh came home in a "ditty bag". I started to use it on my hands because they had a tendency to dry out and split and bleed. This stuff worked miracles. Then it was withdrawn from everywhere and the company that used to market it - Chester Labs - apparently is gone; at least there is no more April Fresh. Originally, it came in several sizes of bottles both scented and unscented. The original scent was called "Orange Blossom" and was a mild scent. Mow comes Medline Sooth and Cool. While the formula is the same, the recipe is a bit different. This version has been watered down a bit. The new scent is very strong...too strong for me. And, for now at least, there is no unscented version available that I am aware of. However, over all, this stuff DOES WORK WELL and does what I have been accustomed to it doing; namely keeping my hands soft sans the splitting and bleeding. And, it comes in the same two sizes as April Fresh use to. So, for me, there is nothing else in the world that works as well as this lotion does. I use it on my hands, my back in places, my knees and my feet. Wonderful stuff. I feel sorry for everyone who has not ever tried this lotion. There is no alternative. I'm 77 years old and had there been a good alternative, I would have found it and I have tried a bunch of different lotions.

The lotion is great. Problem is I ordered 1 12 pack and paid for it and got one bottle. One $2 bottle cost me $30. Amazon needs to get it together.

My husband used this product when he was in the hospital. It’s the only kind that worked for his dry, cracked, inflamed hands. I found it here and ordered it thinking I was going to receive 12 bottles in my order. I only received 1. It says in the description, “12 count”. I thought I was getting a really good deal! Could someone explain what “12 Count” means? It’s a good product and I will be ordering it again! Thank you!

Super dry skin --- this cream is a wonderful product! Found it in use at a Rehab Center!!!
