Favorite Olive Oil
This is my favorite olive oil. It is smooth and distinctive.I used to be a fan of a French olive oil - but sadly that oil now seems to have a bitter bite and is not worth my money.

Great olive oil taste, but not so great pouring spouse — I mean spout
I read some reviews about it being difficult to pour and some damaged spouts. Well, I had full intentions of seeing for myself and being gentle when opening the spout. Unfortunately, my spouse was anxious to test the oil. I returned to a broken spout. The spouse is not very delicate. In fact, I’ve called him a “bull in a china shop” in the past. That said, in his defense, this spout is not the most sturdy in design. The plastic gasket broke, as did part of the cap. Luckily, I had a glass jug I was able to transfer the oil to, but it’s clear glass. It’s stored in a dark closet, so I’m hoping that the taste won’t suffer. Returning the oil is not an option for me, but the spouse????

Really great EVOO for all occasions
I started using this after what I had previously been buying skyrocketed in price. I had been using it for years and had become accustomed to the flavor and how it worked with other ingredients. I didn’t really think I would be impressed by another oil but this is seriously solid stuff. I use it for any recipe requiring a cooking oil (as long as it’s not specified to use one for high heat) and always have great results. I’ve used it for marinades, salad dressings and even as a dipping oil and the flavor is always neutral and mild. It works beautifully and I’ve recommended this to quite a few people.

Tried it at a very upscale restaurant and had the waitress bring out the tin! FANTASTIC FLAVOR!
My sister and I went to an Italian restaurant at the Broadmoor in Colorado Springs which is a very upscale hotel. As we were waiting on our meals I sampled the bread dipped in olive oil they brought to our table. I immediately made a comment to my sister about how fantastic the olive oil tasted and how it was probably the best I have ever tried. I then asked the waitress what kind it was and she said she will bring the jug out to show me, which she did and I took a photo. I have dined at many very nice Italian restaurants and have never been wowed enough to ask about the olive oil that comes with the bread.I then found the exact same tin on Amazon and ordered it. I also taste tested it next to the Costco EVOO I already had, and though the Kirkland brand is not bad at all, it was like night and day! Tasted exactly as it did in the restaurant and it will be the only brand I buy from now on. My tin was not damaged on arrival, I guess I was one of the lucky ones there! The best by date is Sept of 2026 and harvested in 23/24 so it is not old product. Another thing I didn't know until I was looking for this oil and saw an article was that you want to store your olive oil in a tin in a dark room or cabinet. It is not convenient to pour from the tin so put some in a jar and keep that jar in a cabinet or under the sink as the sunlight will diminish the flavor and break it down over time. I believe a glass jar (I have one that sprays and pours) is fine as long as you don't leave it out on the counter in the light. A stainless steel one would probably be better.

Fantastic Oil
This olive oil is the real deal. From a small family operation in Italy. All the whining in the reviews about the price is not warranted. It's a mid priced oil, 64c per ounce. You can pay a third of that for the dog oils from Amazon or Pompeian if you wish. Some of the premium oils run much more such as Californian, $1.04 per ounce. Life's too short to drink cheap whiskey.
