Worth getting
I am a one man filmmaker and end up doing the visuals , audio and post-production. The thing worth noting is that audio can easily put down

Too sticky for their own good...
Two related problems with these: 1) it's very difficult to remove the protective backing from second side of the double sided tape. There's no easy way to peel the backing off to reveal the stickiness for the mic/plush fabric (esp. because the other side is already stuck on the talent's clothing.) 2) once you do get it all all stuck together, it's very difficult to remove the plush fabric piece to free the mic from the adhesive disc. The Canfon Undercovers seem to provide a more elegant solution, though the plush fabric part isn't as nice. https://www.amazon.com/dp/B08CN436F8But both the URSA and Canfon's should make the plush/fabric disc larger diameter than the adhesive disc to accommodate the bulk of the lav mic itself. While the capsules of the lav mics are relatively small, they still take up space and in some cases, the fabric disc isn't big enough to securely attach to the adhesive disc underneath the mic.

When modifying, I used it on the g7x, very good, much better than the long feather. The microphone does not lose reception. The frequency band is lost with the long feather protectors, I didn't notice anything like that with this one.
