Perfect replacement for the one piece top mount only, toilet we bought 4 years ago. This one is heavier and WAY MORE STURDY and stays in place. I wish I had found an oval one instead of this elongated one but I like it too much to go with an unknown and this one works great! They’re not cheap but you shouldn’t have to replace them often so this was worth the money. Replacement was easy.

We had to rub dish soap on the black rubber pieces to get them into the holes on the toilet. That hint should be in the directions. Would have saved us a lot of time and energy. Once we soaped them it was a breeze installation.

Very pleased with this purchase. Being a large fellow I was a little wary of a plastic seat; I’ve seen some pretty cheap, weak examples. This is a much more durable product I have no issues with. The installation is unique: it comes with two sets of hardware. One set is for a standard installation. The second set is for their "no loosening" install. The bolt goes through a rubber gasket through the mounting hole, and the gasket compresses to fill the void and secure the seat in place. It didn’t feel all that secure when I installed it, but all these months later even my fat a… um, I haven’t been able to budge it. The slide-in, slide-out seat is a wonderful feature, makes cleaning it — and the toilet itself — a dream (okay, not a dream, but it’s never been easier). I didn’t give the slow-close feature much thought when I was shopping, but even that turns out to be kinda wonderful. I know, I’m raving about a friggin’ toilet seat, but I’m honestly just so impressed with this thing and really happy I took the chance. If you’re in the market, you could sure do a helluva lot worse than to give this thing a chance.ADDED 05-AUG-2024. So a few months in, still love the thing, but one thing has popped up (or down, I guess). When dropping the seat and not the lid, about 3/4 the way down the lid starts moving, too. But not far enough to fall all the way, so it just sits there two or three inches from the tank. Then, when you next sit down and back into the open lid, it slams hard into the tank. Scared the crap outta me; fortunate to be seated how and where I was at the time. Now I make sure the lid is where it’s supposed to be anytime I drop the seat. Just fair warning to anyone who reads this far.

Should hold up a long time. The other ones that I had been using only had pads under the seat near the front. The other support for the seat was on the hinges leaving the center of the seat towards the rear without any support causing it to weaken over time and break. The other brand I had before, I thought was a of good quality until I had to replace the third one.When replacing your seat, make sure that there are 4 pads under the seat for support or you will be replacing them too.

Our old seat was yellowed and no longer lowered quietly. This toilet seat is a perfect fit for our commode. It closes easily and is well-built.
