These work well. Hard to connect to thick leader but easy fix is to use a UV rated rubber band to wrap the line and connect to the blue clip. Super easy to pull off balloons when fighting fish without generating plastic waste.

I will be using the clips for weights above long leaders for bottom species fishing. It will make it easier to take the weight off quickly so the long leader can be wound through the rod tip and eyes. The balloons may be used for floating baits away from the boat also.
