Fantastic Display! Great Build Quality Too! Works with MacOS (with a script)
I've been in the market for a "mini display" for some time now. When I saw this unit, I decided to take a chance. I'm so glad i did! The screen feels well made, with a nice metal enclosure and strong kickstand. The ports feel nice and snug as well. The thing that really impressed me most of all was the quality of the display image itself. It's fantastic! I use it to stream videos and have messaging apps open while working on my 2 primary monitors. Given it's small size, this unit is very easy to transport too!For Windows users, just plug the device in. As long as you are connected to the internet the first time you do, the computer will automatically configure the display perfectly. For MacOS, it's tricky. I spent the better part of a day figuring out exactly what to do to make this work. Apple doesn't allow you to pick RGB output mode easily, so it appears pinkish at first. If this happens to you after initially plugging it in, do the following:To fix, simply run the following script: https://github.com/mlch911/one-key-hidpiThen select option 4: LG Display, and then option 3: Manual input resolution.then provide the resolution of 480 x1920.The script will insert an EDID override for this monitor into your MacOS Display override folder. Then just restart the mac and you are good to go! If you are still encountering any video issues, try using a different port. I ended up using an HDMI to USB-C cable for this unit and it works great. HDMI to HDMI did not.Youll only need to run this script *once*. Afterwords, the settings are saved and the monitor will be good to go.For me, this monitor is worth it. The quality of the item warrants the price the seller is charging, especially for the display quality. You really are getting your money's worth here. For those that want to know, the display mount I used is an AboveTEK Gooseneck Holder. It can be found on Amazon here: https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00X8C39J6/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_asin_title_o08_s01?ie=UTF8&psc=1

DOA and smelt like burnt electronics
I was super excited to add this as a small monitor to display charts or calendars on my desktop while I worked on other things. Before I even plugged it in I noticed that it smelt like burnt electronics. The second I plugged it into my computer, the speakers on the screen started to click repeatedly.Windows detected the display but the screen would just not power on.It began to smell very strongly of burnt electronics so I unplugged it and filed for a return. What a let down.

Does not work on MacOS despite attempting the shared script
It is pretty much my fault for trusting the reviews of past MacOS users. It's likely these users are using old Macs or maybe a Mac without a dedicated GPU.For me, the script does nothing, the monitor does nothing.I know it's *seen* by MacOS, as a "Waveshare" device does appear in the mentioned HiDPI script.I don't recommend purchasing this screen unless you are only going to use it on Windows. Those out there with a Mac that have a dedicated GPU, steer far away from this one. It could've been great.Marked down 1 star due to the false hope the comments provided. It would be amazing to have support for all operating systems.

Perfect for Monitoring your PC health with out taking up space on big Screen
The media could not be loaded. Love these little screens this was a very reasonable price. 1920x480 Sensor panels will work on this screen, I am using Aida64. This panel has a frame so you can put it on the desk or anywhere external to the computer not really for mounting inside the case but you could do that. the Only drawback on this is the HDMI ports are on the side so your cables stick out but you can get Offset 90 cables then it fits fine.

Fantastic.
I'm using this as a sensor panel to mount below my main monitor. It's so easy to check on how my system is performing with a simple glance down. The quality feels amazing, except the cables(which was a surprise to receive since they aren't supposed to be included), but that's an easy fix. The stand and housing feel really solid. The image quality is exactly what you'd expect for something in this size and price range. I am extremely satisfied with this product!

Faulty Device
This device, when attached to 3 different systems, would make each system freeze up, and the video driver fail upon reboot. Item is VERY Defective and deserves a 0 start but can't go below a 1.

Great but, has fatal flaw
I received this today, plugged it into my RTX 3070's HDMI port, plugged HDMI into this device with a nice click, then plugged in the USB then the USB-C into the device and no click. It works, and it's doing precisely what I intended it for. However, if I simply touch the power cable it'll lose power because the USB-C is not secure in the slot. It's just barely sitting in there and any touching of the cable causes it to move and lose power.I really hope this is just a problem with mine and not an entire design flaw. Hopefully the manufacturer will have a solution.

Nice monitor for displaying my PC's Stats.
I'm using this with Aida64 to monitor my system specs. Easy to set up. Pic attached. Cables are a bit short.
