Memo to Self: Pay attention. Somehow I thought I was buying two gray-and-white towels, not one of each. I have no use for white towels. That being said. the gray one, which I'm using, works well enough; I've been using Turkish towels for the bath for some time now (California water issues that suddenly seem to have reversed) and while one does get dry, the towel is usually far wetter than a terry version would be at the same point; same with these. Then again, original point: It takes a lot less water to wash a load of Turkish towels than it does terry towels, especially the thick bath sheets. And, the colors are delightful (yes dear, I am aware gray is not a color).If you're not in a part of the country where watching your water consumption is an issue; or your water bills aren't a concern; (and your septic tank isn't making you nervous) perhaps terry is the way to stay. Otherwise, these towels (and Turkish towels in genera)l are a wonderful item---in gray they add a touch of luxe; in the varied colors and stripes available they add a cheerful touch and don't seem to fade. And Turkish towels are flexible---easy to pack several for the beach, or to wrap oneself in by the pool (and at the beach/pool-side bar) .These gray and white ones add another touch: Hanging from the towel rack together, with their tassel fringes, it looks like they were left to dry by Uncle Shlomo after walking home from Temple in the rain. Oi!

Look great but are pretty rough compared to other Turkish towels I purchased on Amazon. Maybe they'll get softer after a few washes. I washed them and dried them on gentle cycle without any damage to the towels. They match perfectly with my dark charcoal grey striped towels and look great in my farmhouse guest bathroom. I purchased a shower curtain at Target that matches perfectly. Very satisfied with this purchase.

Based on some reviews, was expecting mediocrity in towel form. As the header denotes, these towels have pleasantly impressed me after 2+ months of use and 5 run through the wash. I did have one tassel knot untie itself in the wash and that was when I neglected to put it in one of those mesh laundry bags. I use a XL bag for a pair of them in the wash and, if there's no time to air dry, in the dryer too. If you can, however, air dry them for fewer wrinkles.They're crazy soft and absorb really really well. There's never a mildew smell on them and after 2½ mths still look new.

I bought the Cacala Turkish towel last year and I thought it was so great I would buy some more as hand towels. When I got these they were much rougher and didn't seam to work as well as my full sized towel. After washing them they got softer and now they're okay. I I like the color of the grey towels but I don't like the metallic stripes on the white towels.

I needed lightweight hand towels for a one-armed towel holder in the powder room and these fit the bill. They are also very attractive and add a nice decorative touch. Have washed and dried w/no noticeable shrinkage.

it says to hand wash, but i put in machine on gentle and air dried, all good. Love the feel and quality, everything I wanted for our guest/public bathroom - style, quality and uniqueness. just re ordered 4 more as a request for a gift.

This was great for the price. My only complaint is that the tassles have been unraveling. I just reknot them at the top. To be fair, it says to air dry and I've been putting them in the dryer. That'll do it. But I don't have time or patience to air dry much. Wish I'd known that before buying. But otherwise I love these. The weight and the black color are awesome. I'll be buying more but maybe not with tassles.

We love these in our small hoise. Take up much less room hanging up, dry quickly, and you can throw them in with whatever else you're washing, instead of a having to do a big towel load. They do shrink quite a bit, which was kind of disappointing-- I loved how big they were at first.

Not only did the seller reach out to me as soon as my order was placed to give me information about the product and what to expect as far as shipping times, once the product arrived (which was very quickly!), I was delighted with the towels! Very nice handmade product and very authentic. They even included this message with some interesting information about the product and how to care for them. Will be happy to order this product again!

Good size, stretch after removing from the washer, do not thrash in the dryer, preferably hang out to dry.

Love these hand towels in our bathroom! They look beautiful, are super absorbent and fast drying...the perfect little towel!

Beautiful towels. Very absorbent. Nice and soft. And they dry quickly. The colours are great.I wash them in cold on the delicate cycle to avoid shrinking them or fading the colours. Hang them to dry.

Very small, too expensive for what you get

I washed these Towels before using them and they all just shrunk and crumpled up in to a wrinkly mess. Edges curled under and not very absorbant. Very disappointed

Beautiful towels but should be sent in a box, not a bag. They are too delicate.

Love these much nicer to use than fluffy towels. The more you wash them the softer they get the opposite to "normal " towels

I love turkish towels and out of the package these were gorgeous and soft. Unfortunately after their first wash they dried funny and crinkly - like the warp and weft of the weave shrank differently maybe? Anyways, they are still soft and absorbent just not as pretty. I would avoid the diamond weave and opt for the standard turkish towel next time.

These towels do not dry well... you literally have to iron them to make them flat again and I am NOT ironing towels !
