Authentic, Impressive, Solid Piece of Art!
I purchased this model for my husband's 80th birthday. This was the first airplane he jumped out of while he was in jump school at Fort Campbell, KY in 1956. The package arrived quickly and I just wrapped it up without opening up the box. When he opened his present and saw the twin tails he knew right away what it was. He was so impressed with the detail and workmanship. He loved it and it exceeded my expectations! A beautiful piece, complete with stand, displays nicely. So very happy with this purchase and highly recommend this seller.

For an older 1950s aircraft, it is a great model for the older men and women of the Air Force. It made me join the USAF. The plane was just so neat to watch flying over head when I was a kid. It has the marking correct and the color scheme are exact. White over gray. People really like the plane when the stop by my place. It works for me.

No retractable landing gear or opening doors or ramps that open and close
Well I truly love the size and detail but I was very disappointed because it had no retractable landing gear in the back ramp does not open or closed which is the reason why I gave it to Stars instead of 5 truly not worth the price if it does not have functioning landing gear and back ramp door and other loading doors to open and close.. in fact if you want a better working model for display by the 1/72 scale that is exactly like this one except you will have opening and closing doors landing gear that go up and down in a ramp that opens and closes it would truly be a better buy

MasterCraft builds exceptional quality. I only wish thaty had a few more models swo that I could complete my Korean War-era aircraft display. (I am missing six).
