Beautiful and easy to install
Although I wish this company sold larger sizes for the steps and landing, I love the way these turned out. I specifically chose this brand after reading that the sticky part is not actual adhesive, it’s more of a sticky rubber that can be easily pulled up/adjusted/reused and still has stick to it! Strong enough still that they do not move around when walking on them. No strong smell straight from the box either. The carpet did shed a bit upon first opening but that’s expected, after vacuuming the shedding has stopped. Great for my dogs who hate hard wood in our new home, and seem cushioned enough to be more safe for kiddos. Definitely recommend.

Good quality. Adheres well. Great for my puppy!
I needed some traction on my hardwood stairs as I recently got a puppy who will eventually be a fairly large dog. These work well and they were a breeze to install. I did carefully use a straight edge razor around the edges on back to make the peel layer easier to remove in two clean pieces. This was a tip from other reviewers and they were spot on. The carpeting looks to be durable and well made with nice edge binding and they stick very nicely and do not move, but also are easy to reposition if needed. I cleaned each wood stair step with a quick wipe of rubbing alcohol on a cotton pad to remove any oils first. I ordered the brown ones so they will not show any dirt so that should help prolong their life on my staircase. I like these so much I am going to order again so I always have them on hand as replacements needed. I expect that will likely be a few years from now but i like these that much.3 month update: I continue to be impressed with these stair carpets. They are holding up very well under constant use and have not moved at all. They are easy enough to clean around with Bona on a paper towel to wipe down wood around them. The brown carpet pile is still in very good shape and shows no dirt making life easier. My puppy is now much bigger and these have been a wonderful safety upgrade. I did order a 2nd box, as I mentioned previously, which i now have on hand as replacements become needed but none have yet been needing replacement and I easily see getting a few years on these before that is needed. They look pretty much the same as they did the day I installed them. Highly recommended.1 year update: These stair carpets continue to impress. They have been down for just over a year at this point and are still looking wonderful, have not moved at all, are easy to clean and to clean around, and have been a huge safety improvement. I still have the backup box of carpets for replacements as needed and have not needed a single one replaced yet. Highly recommend.

Perfect for elderly dogs!
The media could not be loaded. The adhesive on the rugs are wonderful! The rugs themselves are very soft. I’ve been using them for about a month and I am very satisfied with this purchase. I bought a pack that had a few extra rugs than what I had steps to my stairs just in case I needed to replace one but I don’t see a need for that. Follow the directions and clean the steps well before applying the rugs so they stick properly. There are also instructions on how to remove the plastic from the adhesive side. A little tedious at first but it gets easier with time.Something that I’m very happy about is that my elderly dog loves them! He used to be hesitant going up and down the stairs and sometimes when going down, he would build up too much momentum and slip at the bottom. Now he is very confident going up and down the stairs because the rugs provide enough grip for him to control his speed. I definitely recommend this to anyone with a pet that is having a hard time going up and down the stairs! They are also very easy to clean with the right equipment. My vacuum can be adjusted to handheld so it’s a very quick cleanup. They also look very nicely made! They don’t look cheap at all. Quality product!

Solution I needed. Treads don't slip & film IS removable.
I obsessed about how to keep our senior dog from slipping once I replaced carpeting with LVP flooring. It's now been 3 months and I am very satisfied with these treads. The design blends with the flooring & treads are the perfect fit. Also lightweight.I was skeptical about the backing and how it would keep the treads from sliding (it does not feel sticky at all) - but it does work! Initially, I added double-sided tape to some of the stairs as a test. However, no difference observed between taped vs no-tape treads and adherence to the steps. If you have a busy household and prefer to add a few strips of tape for reassurance, that's an option though. Corners of treads have also stayed down. Some reviewers complained about removing the film from the tread backing. However, if you're prepared to be patient, it really isn't difficult. A few tips........The back of each tread has two horizontal pieces of film that are attached to the tread stitching on three sides. The fourth side goes down the middle and is unattached. The secret is to start in middle (per the big markings).Take a scissors & cut each horizontal strip of film in half (goal is to go from 2 long pieces to 4 shorter pieces of film). This simply makes it easier to handle the film. Then take each quarter and slowly tear film off by following the edge of the tread (see photos). Pull film TOWARD the stitching as you tear, not away from it. When you get to a corner, bend the corner a little for better angle/traction while pulling film. For a few spots where I didn't get a clean tear, a razor knife worked well.Treads are easy to re-position. I don't plan on washing them, but have vacuumed and they stay in place. One star deducted due to creases from being folded, not rolled for shipping. However, they have smoothed out since delivery. Not sure about durability. They look good for now, but may wear over time. In that case, I'd just replace faded ones as price is reasonable. I bought a matching mat for the landing, and two smaller mats for at the top and bottom of the stairs as well.Hopefully the photos will help. Good luck!
