Perfect
Perfect fit.

Best quality I’ve had in a stock cover
Put this on a rifle that came with a Hogue stock. Stock is terribly uncomfortable to shoot with a high powered rifle (rubber grips your cheek) but this makes it usable. Very high quality and the pattern is perfect.

Great Fit
Great fit on my H & R 20 gauge single shot - holds my 20 gauge shells nicely

Good Stock Protection
This is a good option for protecting the rock of any rifle or shotgun. It is easy to slip in the stock and stays in place. It is soft material but after extended use it can be abrasive to the skin especially the cheek.

Keeps my cheek happier shooting clays
My cheek gets sweaty and sticks to the stock shooting clays. At the end of the day it feels like I've had a root canal. This helps a bunch and keeps my stock from getting beat up in the cart rack.

Perfect for my application
I was looking for something to take the edge off of the recoil impulse on a mossberg 930 shotgun; 100 rounds of trapshooting and the light hollow synthetic stock did not make for the most comfortable experience. As the gun fit was good for me and I shoot it well, I did not want to alter the setup too much. After some researching of the various stock/comb pads available that were thin enough for my application, I decided to go with the StockGuard 2.0. As it arrived just before I was going to the range, I got to give it a try immediately. Perfect! Just enough padding to soften the recoil that was formerly whacking me in my cheekbone every shot, and thin enough that the ergonomics of the gun fit were basically the same. As an added bonus, my highly figured plastic stock is also protected from scratches and nicks heh heh.The StockGuard 2.0 itself is very well made, fits great, and goes on the stock very easy, but also stays fixed where you put it once it is on. Beartooth got this shipped out to me very quickly too, that was a pleasant surprise. All in all, I'm very pleased with both the product and the service. Buy with confidence!

Good stock cover
Relatives and myself have been using these for some time. The main reason is to keep wood-stock guns with sensitive clear finishes from scratching during hard hunts. Though i will say, don't rely on these to keep your gun entire scratch free, as i was surprised to see dings after the season when removing. But thats no hit to the product, just the reality of the matter. These can be a bit of a pain to install, just because of the super grippy inside material. Once applied, they stay in their position. I can't comment on the loops, as the model i have is the no-loop plain black cover. But relatives haven't complained of their covers when holding standard hunting cartridges. An area for improvement for this product would be water-proofing. These will soak up water on really wet hunts. Would be nice for a full waterproof model. For relatively minor damp conditions they do a good job of staying dry.I recommend removing after season on wood stock guns to prevent locking in any moisture and potentially affecting the stock.

Good product but might not be the exact thing you need for a 30 cal
I purchased this for my Marlin 336rc. It fits well on the weapon. It was a bear to put on but I can say that I see the potential to loose cartridges because it is a little loose for the 30-30 cal. It does hold a 270 or a 7mm cartridge quite well though.
