Easy to fit sash window lock - hopefully it'll last a long time!

This was needed to replace an existing fastner so the holes were already drilled in.Ironically, the product page states to double check the size of the product. The description shows a width of 65mm. The actual product received has a width or 62mm so too small for existing drill holes.Returned.

Solid brass sash window lock. Decent quality sliding lever lock, very easy to install. Only issue is quality of brass philips screws, the screw heads were easily chewed on screwing into the wood window frame base and had to be replaced with other screws. Main brass parts appear fine and function well however.

The product appears well made but is NOT the one in the pictures or the supplied drawings - which match the pictures.I needed a fitch with a narrow keeper to fit a 12.5mm frame, which the drawings showed as a smooth 12mm. But the actual keeper is a shade over 16mm which means it would foul on the lower leaf of the window when the sash was openend.If 16.5mm is fine for you, this is a solid brass part, just not the one advertised.
