No cables in evidence in the black socks
My first impulse was to return the socks immediately when I opened the package and saw they were smooth, not cabled. However, I have changed my mind after wearing the socks several times. Very comfortable, very stretchy.Just don't expect visible cables.

These aren't wool socks
These socks fit perfect. I have a heavier calf and they fit without being tight. I thought they were wool, but they are more of a nylon sock. Still worth every cent and very comfortable.

Great socks!
These are very good quality, well made socks. They do come all the way up to your knee, which I wanted. The thickness is not too thin at all . A perfect thickness to wear with dress loafers, etc., or other shoes.

Stretches out
After wearing the socks just fall off your feet. I wear them with boots and they end up around my ankle. Very very annoying.
