Home Made Pizza on the Gas Grill (as an oven)
We use this as a hot flat "stone" for doing Pizza Night at our place, home-made pizza dough (easy), rolled out, toasted on the this stone after it heat soaks on the Gas Grill outside - music playing - then loaded up lightly with home-made sauce, cheese, and toppings. I place this stone not directly on the grill grates, but rather put two red-bricks in the Grill, and this stop sits on top - so its elevated and not over heat stressed (prevents cracking of the stone). Heat it up on high for 20 minutes ahead of time... then sprinkle with corn-meal lightly, and put your home-made pizza on top, close the lid and let her rip. YUMMMMMmmm BETTER than any damn 400 buck plus pizza oven and much more simple, less $$ and more effective. Bon Appetit

It’s a great pizza pan, but I didn’t get dual grips which was the reason I ordered this.

The Cast iron pizza pan is of good quality. But sad to say I received the box intact . Buy the grips did not come in the box. I tried getting in touch with the company it a nightmare to access their site. I paid for the grips as per Amazon's picture displayed for the product. I would appreciate if Amazon or Lodge sends me the grips . I do not want to return the product just because of the grips. Lodge or Amazon kindly look into my review.

I have a large collection of Lodge cast iron pans and bakeware, and they’re definitely worth the money. The pizza pan makes a great, crispy crust. I read previous reviews stating it didn’t actually come with the grips, so ordered them separately. Glad I did, because even though the packaging referenced them, they weren’t included.
