Didn’t work

So, this is an female to female RJ11 coupler with a RJ11 to RJ9 small wire. The one I got had the RJ11 and RJ9 crimped on in opposite directions so the wires get reversed (ie, coming in, the right most wire will become the left most wire). The coupler can be taken apart and the wires easily reordered in any order you want, so it is fixable. At first, due to the reversal this didn't work, but it seemed obvious from the flipped connectors that things were reversed so I took it apart and fixed it. This comes with no instructions nor any indication that wires are reversed, so make sure you know if your wires need to be reordered. (I used this for a controller on a swamp cooler rather than just cutting an rj11 wire and crimping on an rj9 connector since this was cheaper than a whole package of connectors, and in the end it worked).

You can separate the two ends and reconfigure the wiring for your own specific use. Very simple to use and reliable.

Was used until I could get the proper items needed. Also it says "6 pack", but only one in package. Not a big deal for me as I only needed one, but someone else might get an unwelcome surprise if they need the 6 pack.

i bought a rottery look a like phone that has a conversion in the bottom of the phone, and the output is this RJ9. this converter was necessary to hook it up to my Comcast box
