This is my favorite collagen because it is marine based and I prefer that over bovine ones. It is a bit hard to dissolve in water so I recommend adding to a smoothie if you can. It is great for the skin and overall collagen support, it is pricey but this company is well known and I think their products are good. It doest have a strong fish taste like other marine based collagen products do and I like that. It helps my skin and gut health so I use it as a part of my regular supplements.

Love this brand! This collagen is so good! Dissolves easily in hot and cool liquids! No flavor has no flavor and no bad after tastes! It definitely helps with joint pain!!

I have been looking for a really good collagen product and started with SR Collagen peptides and then ordered the Marine Collagen. Really could tell a difference! I added it for 30 days to the morning smoothie. Perfect felt much better, very calm, joints, bones, skin, etc. Now I am trying out the Matcha Tea Collagen and it was great as a hot tea this AM! I was new to Collagen and I must admit it makes quit a difference! SR products work well when it comes to Collagen in health, smoothies and hot teas. Dissolves completely. I would recommend this to anyone looking to to improve their health. As noted on the container mixes easily and supports skin, hair bones and joints. Works for me. Marine Collagen was my first experience with Collagen peptides and my first choice was Sports Research out of all the other product out there. This product mixes well hot or cold liquids and with other ingredients. I could tell a difference in my daily routine and over time skin feels and looks better to me. Marine Collagen is a great start to a great day. Have recommended this to my Marine, who is now retired and with Family aka "wired up" children...so he adds this to the good morning smoothie and says it makes a difference. Never thought I would use Marine Collagen since I use the Matcha Green tea by SR, but now I am using an additional green powder every other day and the Marine Collagen seems to enhance the good morning tea.

While I don't think it has a fishy smell or taste, it does slightly alter the taste of what ever you mix it into. I tried it mixed into a glass with a strawberry watermelon flavor packet and water, stirred to mix and then added ice. It just tasted less sweet, but not fishy. The second time, I mixed it into a room-temp 8 oz bottle of Gatorade Zero (grape flavored). Same thing as before, it just tasted less sweet. Both times I used 1 Tablespoon of the collagen and not the included scoop (because it was all the way at the bottom and I didn't want to fish it out (no pun intended); and each time the collagen dissolved with no issues. With that being said, I probably will not be adding this to my morning coffee, and stick with mixing it into a fruity type of drink. I have only used this product twice, so I cannot say how or if it has improved my skin, hair or nails. ----------------------------------------------- Updated Aug. 31, 2025: I have used this product off and on since the original review. Still most of the container left. It still mixes well into water, and does not have a fishy taste. Still not brave enough to try in my morning coffee. I haven't noticed a considerable difference in my hair, but I have been using new hair care products & men's rogaine so there is that helping. I have set a timer in my phone, so I can remember to take this every day to really see if it helps before ordering another tub.

I'm so glad to find a marine collagen without a bunch of extra ingredients. I love that they lost the type of fish it comes from and the amino profile, the transparency from this company is why I continue to purchase products from them. The quality of this product is superior to other products I've seen. It mixes very easily, I mix it with my protein powder in cold almond milk and I never have any clumps and it doesn't change the taste of anything. I have noticed my recovery has been better post-workout now, I'm not as sore and my joints do not ache. My nails have also been growing a lot faster as well. This product is definitely worth the cost.

I don’t know how anyone could say this has a fishy smell or taste. It’s completely neutral. I use the unflavored version in my green smoothies with flaxseed and avocado. Absolutely delicious with no bad taste or grainy texture.

Easy to mix in, but has the marine flavor. Couldn't take the taste in my ice coffee.

Love the products, seems like the jars are getting smaller every time I order.
