The original power supply failed and would power up boombox but wouldn't charge or keep boombox on. Bought this and problem solved yah!!

First day charging my Boombox2 fit perfectly, good price, charging fast, So far so good, good quality and fast delivery.

Charger works great and seems more durable and lightweight than original charger!

I bought a JBL Boombox 2 online used, it didn't come with a charger - I saved money by buying it this way. Originally I thought that this was a no-brainer, I could order this on Amazon and still have saved money. Sadly, I found later that this charger, although it fits and functions as if it was OEM, leaves much to be desired. The compatibility and build quality are identical to the OEM, but the battery life and it's ability to maintain the Boombox working while still plugged in is pathetic - after about 18 hours of continuous use, the Boombox will shut off, the battery is dead, and after allowing the charger to charge the battery for about 4-6 hours the Boombox will continue to work for another 18-20 hours. Meaning, even though the charger is plugged in, and actively charging the Boombox during the whole time it is on, the charger is not able to maintain, over-come the requirements of use. I am happy that it charges the Boombox as designed, but assumed that the charger would be able to keep the charge like my other one does that has the OEM charger.

I am from India and I brought this product, it's perfect replacement for boombox2 charger. Works absolutely fine. But it comes with US power socket head, you have to buy universal adapter.
