Bought this for my daughter who is a student living the life, as she had recently been attacked and was very lucky of a passer by coming to the rescue. She has given her spare ones to her flat mates. They have set them off them when they felt threatened walking home in the early hours. They work well. There are apps you can get for protection which alert the police. You would need to pay a yearly subscription for this. For speed these work as police are not the quickest on scene. If you have daughters and you worry about them. Buy this personal alarm. I did. I would hate to do time for protecting my daughter, but as dads we would if we had to.

This product is perfect for the noise alone howeverI would recommend getting a tourch separate as The alarms are very loud , there size makes it comfortable to hold , it has a long battery life , it's got a strong build quality and it very versatile as it also includes a torch . However the speaker performance is good the light is a bit to dull and not as bright

I purchased for personal security, when walking in the woods, haven't had to use it. But it good to know I have it in my pocket, it's small, easy to access and is MEGA loud.

I hadn't had the need to use it yet but traveling home myself has made me feel a lot safer! I tested it at home and well, my ears were ringing for ages after. That would definitely scare off an attacker! Easy to pull too. I haven't needed to change the batteries yet either so seems to be long lasting. Good for value, kept one for me and gave the other two to my family/friends.

I was incredibly surprised how loud the alarm was. Very easy to use, simply pull the string and ear splitting alarm goes off. Easy to attach to belt or key rings. Small and compact to fit in pocket.

At first these were great until it went off in my bag by accident and was not the right time or place for this to happen. Extremely loud which is great but no good if I can't carry with fear of going of on its own.
