Don't buy these cables!!!
Bought these because I needed an extra cable for my 3080ti. Installation was fine. It felt a little cheap but whatever. After turning the pc on, I ran a few benchmark tests and checked temperatures in cpuz and gpuz. Temps were running really high @(51 to 53c) at idle and fluctuating all over the place. Normally my temps sit at @ 31c while idle. I also started smelling a burnt plastic smell. I powered down the pc and removed the cable right away. Knowing no 2 cables are the same, i had bought a second set from YEZriler and installed them. Powered the pc back up and my temperatures were back to normal. Ran a few stress tests just to make sure everything was working properly and everything was stable. BUYER BE WARE OF THESE CABLES. Another review said they fried his 3080. If you're looking for another pcie cable to connect your expensive graphics card, I recommend the ones from YEZriler. They are quality built and have a nice mesh shroud around the cables. They also send you 2 for the same price as these.

These may have damaged a platinum psu. I checked first.
I’m not saying it was them but there is a strong chance they weren’t strong enough for an Asus Strix OC edition 3080 10gb.
