Comprehensive Lactation Consultant Exam Review 5th Edition

Update:I passed the IBLCE exam this spring! Have a combination of test preparation questions, review content and notes to reinforce your knowledge tank. Good luck to all the aspiring LCs out there!This study review text is dense on material.In my opinion this prepares test takers for the actual exam.I like the colored images provided (over 100). Also at the end of every chapter, there are rationales for the answers. I go back and review the content I got wrong/my weak points on my own.A lot of the practice questions are application based. . . . .So a student has to gather all the knowledge they know to solve the question. I'm in favor of that set up because most exams aren't just recall questions, it's good practice.If you're thinking of taking or preparing for the exam, this book is a great supplement for practicing exam questions.:) Happy Studying :)

Great review for certification

I bought this book which was supposed to be new; however, the access code to online material was already scratched off. I tried to see if it would work anyway at the jblearning website. After typing it in, I received the message “This access code has been redeemed already” Definitely not a new book!!!

I bought this for my daughter to review for her cert exam.

4th edition much better

I do appreciate that this resource comes with an online counterpart, however have some serious concerns about the quality of the questions. I am in the process of contesting many questions directly with the publishing company. I hope this helps other folks make a more informed decision about which resource to buy.

I used this as a primary source for studying for the IBCLC exam. I just took the test and I wish I had spent more time on other sources as I felt this has some serious knowledge gaps. It can be helpful to take practice tests, but don’t rely on it alone to cover everything that will be on the exam.

good book but has many errors. I am looking for the document or trying to find out how to get the corrections for this book prior to my test date.
