I bought this to reuse compost. So far i have re potted a big daisy type plant which was pot bound and it's started to grow again with flower heads. I think it'll do the job and you only use a handful. It saves me buying new compost each year.

Works well and good value.

It says on the product page this can be used with potted plants, however when it arrived, there are no instructions on the tub about feeding potted plants whatsoever, which was a little disappointing. It does tell you that a handful of the product is approx 35g and an initial application of 140g should be applied as a base dressing to the soil and worked in well, then specifically talks about Flowers and Lawns, nothing for potted fruit plants like strawberries. I just used a small handful for most of my plants and worked it in as best I could with my fingers. Only reason I'm giving this a four-star review at the moment. It also says Fertilizer and Plant Food on the tub, now I'm only a beginner to the world of gardening after getting some strawberry plants over the past 2 years, but I was under the impression fertilizer and plant food are two different things and in fact a quick Google search confirms this, yet this item is claiming to be both a Granular Fertilizer and Traditional Garden Plant feed. I only brought this following a suggestion from a website that it was a good idea to a general fertilizer to your Strawberry plants in early spring, so I did a search for general fertilizer on Amazon and this came up. At £8.95 for a 1KG tub it seemed like a good price compared to the others which came up. Too early to say yet whether or not it makes a difference, but it does contain the important ingredients: NPK, namely: nitrogen, phosphorous, and potassium.
