20mm from bottom of ring seal to end of cartridge temp indicator (blue/red)

Are thet clockwise &anti clockwise ?

Yes, one of each. Also have red and blue washers though can go on either hot or cold ....or swap them if you are a perfectionist. The red & blue stick on screw covers can go on either of course to suit.
