Still The Best
Still the best in my book for close to 10 years now I think. I have tried them all. I ride hard pack, loose, rocks, roots, occasional sand, and very little mud (only when I can't avoid it). Climb great, confident fast turns and breaking (with lower pressures). As for cost... reasonable for this level of tire. For reference, I run 26x2.1 rear and 26x2.35 front, and terrains I ride throughout the year include north and central Texas, Santa Fe/Taos New Mexico, Vail area Colorado, and south Tahoe Nevada/California. Both front and rear tires are 5-10 pounds over minimum pressure. Yes, people complain they not fast on concrete, and it's reue... but then, THEY ARE NOT ROAD TIRES! Do you want an off road tires to grip off road, or on road. Can't have both successfully. :) Some complain about them being out of round. I've seen that, but it just means they aren't seated. Nevegal's are tight fitting tires, especially on beefier wheels. Use a little soapy water on the bead (tubeless or with tubes) when you put 'em on, and no more out of round every time!

Best MTB tire and width. Esp for front tire
Best front tire I’ve found. Better than Maxxis Minion Downhill. Perfect width. Very surefooted. Would buy again. Extreamily hard to mount wirebead. Had to use clamps. See pics.

Great Price and Fantastic Grip while cornering
Tires look like a MotoCross tire. Flat out awesome for the price.Update: I just finished my second race and my first race having these on both the front and rear of my bike. These tires are very sticky in corners and allow great cornering speed. I was given confidence to push harder, even in some loose dirt. These didn't slide out and let me crash even though I had a few close encounters the grip let me hold the trail.

Really like this tire.
I'm a fan of these tires. They grip in turns and when climbing for me. I ride kinda fast and I'm a heavier guy so if they keep me upright, I'm happy.

Great tires!
These are the best tires I have ever ridden. They are wider than I'm used to. I used to ride 26 x2.1 these are 26 x 2.35. They are about the widest tire my frame will accommodate. They are squshy and grip very well. I am more confident on these. Glad I bought them, wish I had done it years ago.

These are not UST tires.
Descriptions claims this tire is a UST tubeless tires. Mounted theses on Maxxis LUST rims which always held air on previous LUST tires. Front tire will hold air for about 4 hours and rear tires holds air for only 1 hour. This is with sealant!Handling and grip is pretty good when correctly inflated.Been riding on these for 3 months now and always need to pump up during the ride. Yesterday I rolled the back tire with air lose on a technically section for the last time, today I'm buying real UST tires.

Good grip, Stable downhill control, Good value
I bought a pair of these for my 2007 Rockhopper Pro and they really breathed some new life into it. Grip is good for uphill climbs (25% grade or more) and the control over rocky single-track downhill is also good. My riding is not too extreme, but these are more than good enough for weekend-warrior status on trails up off of CA-35 in the Santa Cruz Mountains.

not a great distance but enough for me to form a strong ...
So I've had this tire on for about 50 miles now, not a great distance but enough for me to form a strong initial opinion.First off my set up: Cannondale Super v 500SL, Fox vanilla rear shock, Fox Float 120 CTD fork, Sun AT-18 rims with shimano hubs (unsure of exact model), XT derailleurs and shifters. I'd say a middle of the road mountain bike, better than department store stuff but definitely nothing race worthy. Its a solid bike though and a present from my parents so I love it.I'm using this tire in a 26x2.35 size and running it in the front with a maxxis high roller II in the rear in the same size. The terrain I ride is typical Southern California hardpack, loose over hardpack (lots of gravel and sand), and some light mud. I typically ride 5-10 miles from my home to the trail head so time will tell how badly asphalt chews up the compound. The tire works wonderfully in loose terrain and I have a lot more confidence at high speed through gravel/sand than I did with my previous tires, the IRC Mythos XC. Cornering ability is great, the large side lugs really bite hard even in inherently dicey rock gardens and I find myself leaning further and taking turns 3-4mph faster than I did previously. The tire is also relatively quiet on the street if that is something that is important to you.Rolling resistance is increased over my old setup, the IRC Mythos XC, but that is to be expected due to the large size of the nevegal I am using plus the increased tread size. The Mythos XC had the typical low-profile tread found on XC tires which sacrifice grip for speed and decreased rolling resistance. For me I don't race and a fatter tire makes me work harder which in turn makes me not as fat. So win-win in my book.Looks; the tire looks cool with the big logos on the side and aggressive tread. I feel like some fancy sponsored rider instead of just some guy trying to work off the 5 beers and 4 slices of pizza he ate the night before. Great looking tire.Overall I am very satisfied with my purchase. I typically ride about 600 miles a year so I'm expecting about 1.5 to 2 years of service out of this tire. This is my first foray into higher-end mtb tires but I can say for certain I'm sold! Good tires on your bike make a huge difference so if you're looking for a nice ride with excellent grip the Kenda Nevegal should definitely be given some thought.

Gran agarre y mucha seguridad tumbando. Para la rueda trasera puede lastrar demasiado.
