This book for knitted wild animal friends by Louise Crowther is just as good as her first one. I pre ordered it last December and when it arrived yesterday I immediately ordered yarn. The patterns are well written and easy to follow. I really like all the animals in the book and plan to start with the zebra, panda and lion, as requested by my eldest grand daughter! The outfits fit any of the animals so you don’t have to rigidly stick to what is shown in each picture. I don’t think any knitter would be disappointed with the purchase of this book. An absolute winner for me.

On the sleeves of the pyjamas top from row 32 should knit a row purl a row they have put knit every row, even on the picture it is stocking stitch,good job I’ve knitted for years also same on pyjamas legs from row 32 again should be stocking stitch plus dressing these are for the sloth,it’s knitted in this fluffy wool so you can’t see the pattern which you don’t need to,but back and two fronts all rows knit then should be knit and it says stocking stitch ,is it the publisher who’s printed it wrong ,have sent a message about this but no one has replied

This set of animal toy patterns is just fab. I knitted the monkey for my youngest grandson and have plans to work through the book. The patterns are easy to follow and the clothes can fit all the animals. If you love knitting toys this collection is a must have!!!

I have Louise Crowther’s previous book, Knitted Animal Friends, which is excellent, and had to buy this follow up as soon as it was released. The instructions and explanations are excellent, and the animals and clothes work up wonderfully (I’m not a very experienced knitter at all). This one looks just as good. There are plenty of photos to illustrate the instructions and the design of the book is delightful.

What a fantastic book, patterns are amazing and easy to follow. I couldn't wait to start knitting one of these little guys. Have knitted the elephant so far - just need to sew it up and knit her ballet outfit. Looking forward to knitting the rest of them. I have since ordered the other book in the series 'Animal Friends'.
