I just need the pieces that go in to the roof can I buy just that?

How do they attach to what youre suspending? For example id like to hang an aquarium light.

You will need to figure out where on your Light you can slide in or through a metric ( #3 or #5 as I dont recall ) machine screw into the female threaded connector at the end of the Cable.
