I just purchased my third of these umbrellas. I purchased the first 2+ seasons ago for my deck and was really happy with it, so a couple of months ago, I bought a second to put on the opposite end of the deck - having full coverage as the sun moves throughout the day is glorious!It was interesting to compare the modifications they made from the first to the second (over a couple of years). A couple changes were clearly cost-cutting - and the second was 50% cheaper than the first, so that's relevant! Some other changes clearly made the product better. Notably, the sliding mechanism that lets you adjust tilt - I thought for sure that would be the first part to go on the first umbrella - it's WAY improved on the second.Alas, a couple of weeks ago, I left my umbrellas open in slightly too high wind. The new umbrella was totally fine, but the old one's vertical post was bent (when the umbrellas are tilted, they can act a bit like a sail).I think I got reasonable life out of that umbrella, but before ordering a new one, I wanted to see if I could just replace the damaged part. I contacted [email protected] and a friendly human got back to me within a business day and emailed back and forth trying to make it work. Ultimately, they didn't have that part for the old umbrella, but they gave me a little discount on a new one. I felt they treated me very well.Interestingly, comparing the part that failed on the old umbrella to the similar part on the new one ... the new one is way beefier! Clearly, someone paid attention to the possibility (or experience) of failure in that part and improved it. I really respect that.To round out your purchase, search for the wikiwiki umbrella cover and get the one that's $25-30 - I didn't see it the second time when I browsed their store - I had to search for it. The cover is wonderfully, comically over-engineered, and it kept the material like new, even after a couple of Michigan winters.Strongly recommend.

DO NOT BUY!!! CUSTOMER SERVICE EMAILS FOR THE PAST 9 MONTHS KEPT SAYING THEY WERE SENDING A NEW UMBRELLA; BUT, IT HAS NEVER ARRIVED!!! Bought this umbrella last September 1, 2023, after reading reviews about the great customer service if you experienced any issues. The umbrella was sturdy and easy to put together; but once I opened it, I could not close it again. Tried calling the customer service number which was disconnected, so I sent an email. They said they were sending me a new one and I didn’t have to return the old one since it wouldn’t close. The new umbrella NEVER ARRIVED! As time went on, with the umbrella unable to close, the winds started breaking the umbrella apart, until it became totally unusable. Emails continued for 9 months showing the progression of damage to Customer Service and they kept saying they were sending a new one; but the new umbrella HAS NEVER ARRIVED!!!

Don’t waste your money on this cheap umbrella.Update 4/29/2023We have received a refund for the umbrella and want to be fair with our review. The customer service was excellent. Seriously. Responsive. Helpful and committed to “making it right.” We do appreciate that. As for the product itself… it’s a nice umbrella. Here’s some suggestions: the 4 weight containers, make these interconnected. Right now a little U shaped metal piece you push into holes keeps them together. However, with high wind or a gust of wind while the umbrella is out, the little metal pieces come up and is not safe. Create an interlocking system between the 4 weight containers. Supply (four) 8in long anchors that can be hammered into the ground. Having one on each “leg” would also help keep it sturdy and upright. If on concrete, then having the interlocking weight containers will help keep it sturdy and upright. Also, on the hand lock that puts pressure on the pole to keep the umbrella up and out… make the backside of that piece a hard rubber, that will “grab” onto the pole better so it doesn’t slide from the weight of the extended umbrella.I’m not engineer, but these are simple things that would fix potential issues. Again, a few product improvements - coupled with their excellent customer service and this would be the #1 seller on Amazon in no time. Thanks again for the help and making this customer, happy.

The seller reached out to me after I posted the following review and they offered to replace both umbrellas at no charge to me. I am very happy and the seller stood by the umbrellas that were defective. I definitely would order from them again.ORIGINAL POST: I originally purchased one umbrella and liked it so much that I ended up purchasing another one. I purchased both of these umbrellas from The Wikiwiki Store the first one on May 27, 2023, which was delivered on June 2, 2023, and the second one on June 13, 2023, which was delivered on June 19, 2023. Both of these umbrellas have been put up less than a dozen times each and only on days that the breezes were less than 5 mph plus they are even in a protected corner of my home. BOTH now have stress cracks in the crank housing!!! I’m quite upset that they are made so poorly and feel that this merchant needs to correct this problem! The first picture is of the crank housing for the umbrella purchased on May 27 and the second one is for the one purchased June 13! Use your own judgment to decide whether you want to purchase from this seller selling sub par products. If I could find how to reach this seller I would be writing them directly. Anybody have this seller's contact information please post it!!! Lots of people are looking to reach this seller!
