JAN & JUL Wide Brim Sun Hats for Boys with Neck Flap

We really like this hat, you can tell it is high quality. The wide brim protects sun from going into the eyes most of the time and the back covering is great for neck protection. It seems quite breathable fabric. The adjustments are great too for a longer life than other hats and chin strap prevents easy throwing away of the hat by smaller children. I like the simplistic, unisex design. It simply everything we wanted for a hat, we will definitely be buying again in future when it is time for the next size up.

Great little hat, lightweight material but soft and also covers the neck so can use that for sun protection. Worth the money and the little tie at the back is great in case its loose.

Amazing! The only hat my 1 year old son won't try and rip off his head. Fits well and love that it's adjustable and will last few years, great choice of colours and patterns too. Fantastic coverage around the front and down the back of the neck. So many compliments on how great it looks too! You just need to make them for adults now!

I almost never write reviews but I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend this, it’s the best sun hat I’ve seen for small kids. Being a kiwi I’m hyper aware of making sure my toddler is safe in the sun - even living in the UK!The hat has a lovely wide brim that shades his face, and the back protects his neck. It’s also very lightweight so he’s not too bothered about wearing it now. The neck strap is nice and generous - he’s got a lovely chubby double chin and I’ve found some neck straps too short in the past.

This has been a great hat for my little one. I was concerned that it would be too small for him - I bought the 0-6 months size when he was 5 months old, and he's a fairly large baby - but it actually fit him great, and still fits him well now he's 7 months old. It has good sun coverage, has a nice colourful pattern, and is adjustable so it fits different head sizes. I definitely recommend it and plan to buy it again in a larger size next summer!

Fantastic hats for kids, gives all round protection from sun around face and neck. The straps help the keep the hat on my kids head in the wind!

This hat provides fantastic coverage - the cape bit is awesome for ensuring that no slivers of neck are accidentally exposed. It's protective, dries quickly if (or when!) it gets wet, and has a great break-awak clasp on the chin strap that would cause it to open if your child caught it on anything, so no accidental choking. My favourite feature: my son actually wears it unlike most hats!My 2 year old is wearing the 4-5YO size as he does measure above average for his head size, but with the adjustability of the hat, it's better to order large anyway and get more use out of it.

I had high hopes for the Jan & Jul Summer Hat for my toddler, but unfortunately, the fit was disappointing. Despite ordering the appropriate size, it didn't sit well on my son's head. However, the design is adorable, and the UV sun protection is a crucial feature. The material feels durable, and the navy trim adds a stylish touch. While it didn't work for us, I imagine it might fit better on other children. If you're considering it, I recommend double-checking the sizing or trying it on before purchasing to ensure a proper fit.

The material of this hat is just what I was looking for- similar to a pair of running shorts. Very breathable fabric and light weight. It has an adjustable breakaway chin strap. It is also adjustable around the crown of the head so that it stays on- this was something I was looking for since my babies head is on the smaller side and most hats would not be small enough for him (LO head circumference 15 in). The front brim is also structured to just behind the ears so it holds shape and was great for keeping sun out of his eyes. The back brim was unstructured and helped cover his entire neck and some of his shoulders. Overall very happy, with the quality and fit.

this hat is adjustable to grown with your child. the back is long enough to give sun protection and also the sides come out enough to give side protection as well. beautiful turtle print. highly recommend
