how large does the opening behind the light fixture need to be...width, height, depth?

This is a wall mount fixture. It is 120V so you will need to wire for line voltage not low voltage. It should cover a single gang electrical outlet box if you choose to wire it that way.

How’s the back part of the light I would like to install them on my concrete steps, steps are not done yet so i need the lights before the pour cement

Are led's replaceable? what type led bulbs?

Hi, there are 20pcs of 2835 led beads in this step light, and the light can last for years to run. The leds are not replaceable.
