What can I say nothing made me move from Samsung before ....
Where do I start im going to babble on regardless of grammar! with my thoughts how its wrote is how I feel the gorgeous screen the super (REAL) battery life the fluidity of the UI ? The useful features that work flawless? The loud speakers? The camera in low light this isn't hype......the camera 😳 This colour OS is the only OS that comes close to oneUI from Samsung I had iPhones before and HTC. And that latter was the only UI that was smooth as Apples software for an Android but i moved to Samsung a few year ago due to the customisation and nothing made me switch back to fruit phone.. (I tried a few a month ago) and a few other brands ie the ones using MUI but I can't seem to get on with that OS ... I am very very particular about devices and usability. Regarding the oppo find X5 pro I have seen no lag no heating issues temperature never has been above 39c as of yet no serious bugs or flaws ether and games run superlative and cool and zero lag. I have seen more lag on my previous premium Samsung device than this oppo!!! Even a friend came over to me looked at my phone a month after owning it and said it's ok I just wanted to see if you still have the oppo and not the s22 ultra....lol I just smiled 😂 As I'm known for not being satisfied..... Meaning my friend knows the oppo must be that good as I still have it........ And it's shocking to see what choices we do also have out there than the 2 main brands.......it's my first ever oppo handset and I can't see it being my last as it's seriously that good it's probably the best phone I have owned. That being the design and the OS it's a premium Smart phone and oppo deserves to do well in this market than that of the others that people tend to buy.... I took a chance and I'm glad I did its beautiful to hold I got the ceramic white version and it feels like butter but not slippery in hand like glass is for some strange reason.... and it also had a factory screen protector fitted ! and a charger in the box and it's an 80 watt charger too let alone the thick USB C cable and a bundled white case! Samsung removing the fitted screen protector removed me from being a customer almost instantly. It's quite an expensive smartphone but it's a premium smartphone and oppo really have it polished with their design and innovative features and hardware. Do I recommend it yes! I can't see any faults and if I had any qurks I would probably look past them because it does no wrong in my eyes in the month I've owned it . Maybe people might want a larger zoom ? And I did hear the video records audio at only 64kb ? And thats the only thing that would bother me the audio but I'm sure a software fix ? 64kb is a very strange choice if it's true 🙂 So i don't know100% if it is or not!!! also someone complained about the back glass its not glass its ceramic!

nice looking phone with top specs that's not a Samsung
what can I say top phone fits well in hand as not as wide as the Samsung's and has Snapdragon 8 gen 1 in UK with 5000 mah battery and 250gb of hdd space 12 GB ram and we all need more space just with the size of the apps keep getting bigger that's with out all your other stuff on it and with more phones losing SD card slot which is a shame even for this one but there all doing it now so nothing new I'm normally a Samsung phone fan as I like all the custermizing u can do on them and there solid phones but I didn't like how wide they are in hand I tried a case befor deciding Samsung 22 plus or this one and it was wider and then the battery was bigger on oppo and there was the fact that oppo have Snapdragon 8 gen 1 in UK and Samsung want to give us exynos which we all know is not that good no matter how many times they put it in there phones and I like the fact that it's a bigger battery and 12 GB of ram and 250gb HDD for not much more that a Samsung galaxy s22 plus the camera seems pretty good to me I like to take pictures in day and night and it's seems to hold up good I find not sure it's as quick as a Samsung or can take zoom shoots but the wide angles are good and the colour profile seems good to not to bright like some out there but not alot of camera options which is a shame but it does the job and there phone feels quick with the 120 Hz Refresh rate and proseser in games and other takes and the 5g is fast but this is my first 5g phone but it's quick and the screen is nice could be brighter but it will do not as bright as Samsung even coming from Samsung S10 so I'll give them that and the customising that u can do on them as is limited on oppo phone and the fingerprint reader is not as fast as Samsung just so u know but what do I really need a phone for theses day call texts browse the web and a few games and this does all that so I cant complain to much it's hard for phones to evole theses days what else can they add apart from the SD card slot back would be nice.

Great camera, great battery, useless fingerprint reader.
This is my second Oppo phone, purchased to replace a Reno4 Pro 5G. In comparison the Find X5 Pro feels much heavier, 226g compared to the Reno's 172g. Personally I prefer that, but that'll be a matter of personal choice. Physically the Find X5 Pro looks pretty in pictures but is completely impractical to keep hold of unless it's in a case as the ceramic material it's made from is super slippery. I've gone for a case from GOGME as it gives the most protection around the camera lenses. I chose the Find X5 Pro as it was reduced by £310 to £739 on a Black Friday deal and I wanted to get the best camera I could within reason. The camera does seem excellent, 50mp for standard and 50mp for wide angle with brilliant low light capabilities. The zoom isn't very good in comparison, being 13mp 2x optical but really only a Samsung S22 Ultra has a half decent zoom lens (for twice the price of the Oppo), and that's still nowhere near as good as a superzoom compact camera. I've got a Nikon A1000 35x optical to cover that requirement. The battery fitted by Oppo has a rated life of 1600 cycles (maintaining 80% of charge) compared to 500 for Apple and Samsung. Only time will tell if that claim is true but with a daily charge that's over 4 years without noticeable degradation. The face recognition seems excellent and the screen is superb as you'd expect from something that launched at well over £1000. The one thing the Find X5 Pro and Reno4 Pro 5G share is an utterly useless fingerprint reader built into the screen. I work in an industry where I use my hands so the top later of skin on my fingers is often damaged. Simply put, the fingerprint reader just doesn't work. With or without screen protector makes no difference. Compared to old Motorolas I've had with the sensor on the back which always worked perfectly regardless of how chewed up my fingers were the Oppos are a huge disappointment. Perhaps for office types who never do manual work the fingerprint reader works OK but not for us manual types. Out of the box the Find X5 Pro had ColorOS 12 (Android 12) installed but within a few hours it had done a couple of upgrades to that, and then and upgrade to ColorOS 13 (Android 13). More evolution than revolution but seems to work fine. There is no perfect phone, the best you can do is wade through the reviews and go for what does what you want the best. For me that's camera performance and I'm not disappointed. Definitely worth considering.

Great phone - missing features
Oppo has been my go to phone for years now. The flagship XX Pros are great. The quality is superb, the battery life is decent even running at max settings. Sound quality is fantastic, calls and speaker, the camera is amazing. As far as ease of use there are some features missing as the Oppo software isn't loaded so having to use Google Dialer for example which means I miss out using VIP contacts but overall a great phone. Picked up on a deal and therefore great value for money

Love it
It's fantastic. Great screen, responsive optical fingerprint, great camera that actually takes great close ups (sorry Google). Looks incredibly sleek as well and hopefully gorilla victus protects it. Only downside is the battery life. It's clearly improved since release from the earlier reviews but is still not great. As I said the display is phenomenal. By default it is set to standard. First thing you should do is change it to high in the settings. This thing supports a qhd+ display so use it. If you are constantly using it then expect a day and a half battery life from 80% charge. The major bonus is the charger. It will charge from 20% to 80% in 20 minutes max. Ridiculously fast. Wireless charging is fast as well. In my car in charges 1% per minute. Great phone.

Works but terrible quality compared to other much cheaper phones.
Not up to scratch, bit of disappointment, had it for over a year now, battery life now terrible lasts half a day with little use, brightness quite dull, camera about 30 percent quality of other much cheaper phones, I have had other oppo phones for the last 10 years this is by far the worst one. Going back to Samsung or similar, further update I have reduced it to one star sound keeps dropping off I have to increase it from zero every morning also brightness goes down by itself.

Another excellent phone from Oppo
This phone is very well made and feels lovely in the hand due to the ceramic back. The screen is also one of the best currently available with exceptional colours. Excellent battery life and amazingly fast charging and great overall performance form the processor. Oppo's colour OS is very clean operates smoothly and is well featured and the cameras are easy flagship level and the Hasselblad profiles due make good improvements to your photos too. Overall hard to fault for the price especially since you get a case and charger in the box aswell. Very happy with the purchase and after owning 3 Oppos in the past I will always recommend the brand as none have let me done or been a disappointment.

Great phone
I have the s22 ultra as my contract phone and I bought this on the 12 month scheme. I love my phones and I've had the oneplus 9 Pro, oppo find X3 Pro, S21 ultra in the past. To start with, this phone fits in my hand and trouser pocket better than the s22 ultra. What I've noticed so far is that the battery life seems a tad bit better and the face recognition is sooo fast compared to the Samsung. Plus with the software update it came with a new feature. It hides notifications if someone other than you is looking at the screen, superb. Point and shoot camera looks very similar to the s22 ultra, more real life colours with the oppo. Small things that annoy me with the Oppo, but hopefully this changes. Software updates aren't as fast at coming through as Samsung, and you can't really buy a decent (spigen) case for the oppo yet. All in all, the phone is great, lovely looking, albeit in a case, nice in the hand, and can hardly feel it in your pocket. The screen isn't as bright as the Samsung, but what screens are. Samsung won't sell their best displays to rivals. Great phone so far. 👍
