FLARE AUDIOCapsule Purple - Tough Lightweight Aluminium, Water-proof, Keychain

I have this for flare calmer and they easily drop in and simply tilt to pour out.. plenty of room for two pair. I read reports of a squeak -- it's there but not horrible. You could maybe put some silicone on it (don't use a oil based product as it's not good for an o-ring) but I don't feel it's necessary. The color is good and feels good in the hand, smooth, no rough edges.. Great color

I like this case/capsule. It holds the ear plugs it's supposed to and the Keychain is good quality. I also really like the color that is true to the picture. The only thing I don't like is the sound it makes when you unscrew the lid and screw it back on. It's quiet but noticeable and gives me a similar feeling to nails on a chalkboard. It's not nearly as bad though.

This is a great case for Flare earbuds. My only observation is the color is lighter in person than pictured (at least for the purple case)

Had these a couple months now and so far I really like them. I tend to get really anxious and annoyed by sound. These have helped dull it down a little at restaurants, airports, and other venues where noise doesn’t seem to bother anyone else. I volunteered at a music festival and while I was up near the speakers I still needed regular ear plugs but when I was working booths towards the back, I used these! So happy these exist. They do sometimes start to work their way out of my ears but most days it’s a good solid fit.

My therapist suggested I try these for when I get overwhelmed by noises at home. I'm not sure if they actually work, or they are just a reminder for me to be more mindful about how I'm affected by noises, but I'm happy I got them!

Considering these are made to hold ear devices for people with sound sensitivity, I have no idea how these capsules ever made it off the drawing board and into production. Horrid scraping and squeaking sounds when opening and closing. I thought I surely must have been doing something wrong- did I maybe not line up the grooves right? No, it truly sounds like that every time. No matter what. The capsule can indeed hold the Flare Calmer well. I never put them in there though, because I cannot stand the sound of the canister without the Calmer in my ears.

I ordered a couple of these in different colours because I had to get two different kinds - got two different colours. Have a backup pair - in purple because: Oh Mamie, isn't it time you went to purple? (First one is black)
