No Problems
I bought this for a really old Macbook, single body, white machine. This in combination with an SSD drive improves the performance immensely. If you want to keep an older machine going, this RAM works.

Good memory.
I bought this 8 GB of PC3-8500 RAM from Xtremeram. I installed it in my 2010-vintage MacBook, replacing the original RAM I had in there. I always do extensive testing with any RAM upgrades. In this case, I tested the RAM with using both MemTest86 and Apple Hardware Test. No errors, so that's a great sign (any error means "bad").Since then, I've used my MacBook for several days. No issues so far (kernel panics, crashes, etc).

No issues 2nd time around
No issues 2nd time around. The time one was defective. They replaced free of charge, just a nuisance having to take the Mac apart several times and then going to UPS and having to wait again. But as I said this time they both work great 👍😊
