Just wondering, if this is aluminum, how are users having success using magnets?

The frame is aluminum, however the honeycomb is steel on mine. I use magnets on it every day.

Will magnets stick to the honeycomb?

Depends on thickness of material and magnet. I use for cutting up to 6mm of plywood and 5mm of black acrylic with 4cm wide neodymium search magnet. It holds and press material to bed pretty well.

Does this come with a metal plate that goes under the honeycomb to protect the waste board?

Yes, honeycomb panels with protective sheet.

Will this table work with the AtomStack S10 pro extended frame 850 x 410mm?

It shouldnt fit since diameter of bed is larger than atomstack frame. Unless you want to put laser on top of the bed.
