La Roche-Posay Anthelios UVmune 400 Invisible Fluid SPF50+ 50ml

I was looking for a sunscreen that would offer great protection without being heavy or greasy on my skin and this is a brilliant product for me. The bottle needs a good shake before use - there is a ballbearing inside so when you shake there is a bit of a rattle as the product gets mixed. The product is described as a fluid and it is very liquid so be careful not to squeeze too much out at a time or it will go everywhere. Applying onto clean, dry skin the product is easy to spread and it "disappears" easily leaving no white sheen or greasiness. The product has no discernible scent and, although I've not tried it, I feel it would be fine under make-up. Spending a day in the sun doing gardening and getting a bit sweaty I didn't get even the slightest bit of redness from the sun. Nor did I find my eyes stinging or red when sweat got to my eyes. That's a first for me - sunscreen has always stung my eyes but not this one. After several days of use my skin has been well protected from the sun and I have not had any irritation or breakouts (both of which I normally get from sunscreens). Not the cheapest but it does an excellent job and I feel it is better for my skin than other options. I think it is worth the price.

I love this sun cream. It is so thin and absorbs into the skin beautifully. It seems like such a small bottle but a little goes a long way and is definitely worth the money. The bottle is the perfect size to carry around also and has a (reasonably) mess free spout and screw on lid. It does not leave any white residue and any greasiness (which I think is hardly any compared to other sun creams), goes away very quickly due to quick absorption. Normally I worry that something like this won't be worth the price, but this definitely is. It took me to try it via someone else but now I am a regular user and would recommend it to everyone.

Final thoughts: This is a very strong SPF for everyday use — excellent broad coverage, light feel and good for sensitive skin. It’s become my go-to face sunscreen for summer and cloudy days alike.

This product is such a good everyday sunscreen! It is not at all sticky, neither does it leave white cast on the skin! I have quite a lot of irritation with sunscreens but this does not irritate at all :) I initially bought this as a gift but it was so good I had to buy it again for myself!!

This sunscreen is good, not bad but not amazing. The price is a bit unreasonable for what its offering - to me, it's as good as any other cheaper brand of sunscreen. It's also incredibly liquid and a bit greasy.

I have tried many types of sun screen on my face, but I can honestly say that this is the very best I have ever used. Many leave me with skin irritation, feeling greasy and uncomfortable and also don't seem to provide adequate protection. It is so so easy to apply and leaves no residue so much so that it doesn't feel that there is any cream on my face. I've used it for a full week in Fuerteventura when the sun was intense and it provided to best protection I have ever had from a sunscreen for my face. When chemical sunscreens are viewed under a UV camera they appear black as they absorb UV light. Attached is a picture taken with a UV camera with legitimate sunscreens on the top and bottom, and the product I received in the middle. As can be seen, the product I received does not turn black, which suggests that it is not authentic.
