Russell Stover Sugar Free Pecan Delights with Stevia, 10 oz. Bag

Ben says: “If this is sugar free, lie to me forever.” These Russell Stover Sugar Free Pecan Delights are shockingly good. If nobody told me they were sugar free, I would’ve gone my whole life assuming they were the full-sugar originals. The flavor is rich, the pecans are perfect, and the caramel hits that sweet spot without tasting “diet” at all. They are a little harder than the normal version — not jaw-breaker level, but definitely firmer. And yeah… they’re expensive AF. Like, treat-yourself pricing, not everyday snacking pricing. But for something sugar free that still tastes like the real deal? Worth it. These things absolutely slap.

Simply put, they taste great. Stevia has no aftertaste and is my sweetener of choice. The chocolate does taste like chocolate, the pecans taste like pecans, and they provide a nice texture. Speaking of texture, the caramel layer is the perfect ingredient to tie the flavors together. They're nicely chewable, but I have also put them in the freezer for a nice "crunch." Note that they get both cold and hard! The only issue is that they are so good I have to remind myself to stop eating them!

So yummy! Tasted so fresh. No after taste, just delicious!

These are delicious & sugar free. Great for prediabetics. But, on the package it states that there are 17 individualy wrapped pieces in the package. On a whim, I decided to count and guess what? There were only sixteen, so I opened the other bag I got and again only sixteen! I assume it's based on weight since it says the weight on the package. But, the company shouldn't advertise that there are seventeen per bag when there are only sixteen! No biggie but it is false advertising and we have to trust that it is sugar free.

They claim its a 3oz bag, but mine was only a 2oz bag. Their listing photo also shows 3oz, but of course doesn't say how many pieces are in the bag. However my 2oz bag shows that it's EXACTLY 4 pieces. Only thing correct was that it was in fact sugar free. For $12.50, this was absolutely NOT worth it.

Having tried, and liked these, I decided to compare them to the obvious product, Reese's cups. I like these better: more and better chocolate. In addition, the Reese's arrived smooshed; the RS arrived perfect.

These are lovely, never know they were no added sugar. Good for my husband who is diabetic. Will be purchasing more in the future.
