correction and update
Bought the set with 10 plugs. Every plug failed on pin 3. Now have to go out and buy more plugs and return this tool as obviously a fault with them.****edit****It appears not to have been the crimpers at fault at all. Despite checking the wall socket before I installed the cable, thepin3 error was actually on that socket not anything to do with the crimpers or supplied plugs RJ45.So it is an updated 5 stars for both crimpers and RJ45's.

Hours of my life wasted
This simply isn't a reliable solution. The manufacturer has countless 'how-to' videos on YouTube all slightly different. I meticulously followed the steps and near every connector I made didn't work.I found an independent video which highlighted issues of cable shielding and grounding (which VCELink don't mention in their instruction leaflet!), but even then I couldn't get a stable connector.Really annoyed at hours of my time wasted.

not the easiest of tools to use.

Not worth it.
I’ve been making cables for 20+ years, these passthrough cables are constantly giving shorts and bad connections. The old school gen1 connectors where each cable is in an isolated sleeve is far better and they’re cheaper. I would’ve returned them if it wasn’t the hassle of printing label it and shipping it back. If the crimper is all you want then fine I guess.

Doesn't work! DONT BUY
The one I got didn't work. There's a screw where you can slide a part to select the cable type you're crimping but that screw can't be undone by ANYONE and is now damaged by trying. So overall this was a huge waste of time and money.

Looks good but lacks accuracy
Whilst it does what it says on the packet, when crimping the cable although using the guide leave and pass through RJ45 connector. I had regular missed alignments on all different pins no matter what I tried to ensure alignment an contact it would always slip and miss on at least 1 pin.

Absolutely shockingly bad - about a 1 in 10 chance of crimping properly
This came with 10 plugs and and load bars. It took 10 tries before I got all 8 wires crimped. This just doesn't work properly.
