It works great, looks nice, feels nice to use, features are great and functional (except for the nighttime mode? Not sure what it’s trying to do when I set it to that), I couldn’t ask for more from such a small inexpensive, quality unit. I live in Northern California about an hour east of Sacramento in my friends trailer with no form of cooling other than this little evaporative cooler and I’ve got to say, it gets the job done. Sure, it’s not as cool in the trailer as I might prefer, but with this thing blowing on me, I stay cool enough to sleep which is a hard accomplishment in the summer. Plus, it gives me an excuse to buy another one in the near future.Also, can’t stress this enough, if it’s not working for you, OPEN A WINDOW or get a larger one that is suitable for the space you are trying to cool. I toss a couple of ice packs in the tank and rotate them with fresh ones every 3-4 hours and it keeps blowing cold air, you really notice the difference especially if you turn off the water pump, then it’s just like a fan blowing meh temperature air at you. The only minor complaint I have is that the remote can be a little finicky, you have to point it from the direct front of the unit with not much tolerance for angle (right or left), but other than that, it’s great!

The media could not be loaded. UPDATE: the company refunded me for half of the unit cost due to the noise it made. A few months later, I tried to run it and the noise wasn’t as bad if the water level was kept high enough. I let it run for an hour and look to see it is leaking and standing, plugged-in AND running, in a HUGE pool of water. I unplugged it and it continued to leak (see video). Found a piece of gold metal that may be a prong that broke internally. Who knows but this unit is not just noisy, IT IS DANGEROUS. DO NOT BUY! Had to deduct another star for this reason. Be careful.Original: This unit is compact and convenient. It does produce cool air. Unfortunately, it also produces a repetitive chirping sound that is so loud and distracting, I cannot use it for intended purposes. The sound picks up on the audio in my virtual meetings and is very distracting.Maybe I got a defective unit, but it will have to be returned. This is really a 1-star situation because the sound is so annoying—like I have birds trapped inside—but I’ll give it 2 stars at best as-is because it technically produces cool air. I’ll update if the company reaches out to me to make it right.(I have included a video for the audio experience. Also shows I am not running low on water and this is how the machine worked right out of the box.)

Im pretty conflicted on the product, it works alright i suppose, may be leaking a tiny bit cause i feel like im cleaning a bit of water every once in a while but its alr other than that, you put in cold water the water flows onto the filter and air gets sucked through the filter and blown out through the front, it works fine, the issue im having is that despite how large the vents are at the front, only about 1/3 of the left side of it puts out air, i just feel like its pretty misleading, you get a unit of this size and expect the entire front of the unit to push out air, but the type of fan thats used just isnt practical, its a cylinder and it pushes air out of one side instead of utilizing the entire face of the unit, its just a little unsatisfying that if i wanna cool down quickly i have to stay on the left side of the machine cause thats the only part pushing out air, it would be great if the entire front pushed out air but thats not the case, unless i bite the bullet and attempt to fabricate a fan and just alter the unit im seriously considering returning it 😬 because $150s pretty heavy for something im probably gonna have to alter to be satisfied with :/

I bought this in the heat of summer to help cool down. It really only works if it is pointed directly at you and on setting 3. It circulates cold water to cool down. However, if you want it for a room, keep looking. This doesn't cool a room, just what is in front of it.

Update: About three months since I started using this unit, it is leaking puddles and puddles of water. I took the unit apart as much as I was able, but can’t tell where the leak is coming from. I would return it if the return date hadn’t lapsed.I’m pleasantly surprised with this cooler! I used it for the first time today in my tiny bedroom. I really appreciate the three different fan speeds on this unit because the water tank runs down pretty quickly (several hours) if the fan is set to the highest speed. Last night I ran the unit for about 12 hours on the lowest fan speed, and the water tank barely depleted at all! Thus far I’ve only utilized the cold packs in the water tank, and they work great, but I’m also going to try the option of adding ice cubes to the tank. The noise level is perfect, and the unit could actually double as a white noise machine and somewhat of a humidifier—really pleasant! I’m very impressed with this little unit.

Please tell me how many drainage holes are suppose to be in the top water tank? Because it looks one of the hole is missing and that part of the water curtain is not getting any water.Update review: A nice lady from the seller company called and checked + explained fully that 2 holes is normal for this model. I am happy with this product so far. I have a 300 sq ft vaulted ceiling room, this machine can’t cool down the entire room but it does provide personal cooling, make it ok when outside is 95 degree and your room becomes 85 degree but your skin is cool to touch while this is on low setting. I live in So Cal inland empire, the air is always dry, I don’t think this machine will be as effective if you live in a humid area.
