Approximately how many bills will the clip hold?

I wouldn't recommend putting bills since the clip wouldn't hold the bills, and would be slipped out when putting in pocket.

can i use this wallet as a wallet that i can hang on the belt.i have back problems so need a wallet that has has belt loops

A thick leather belt could stress the spring clip, but the thin fabric of your trousers won’t open the spring any more than a wad of bills. Clip it to the pants waist, bifold outside under the belt or inside for minimal visibility. Even clipped in front, you can sit comfortably. US bills folded in half will fit in the lowest cart slot opposite the ID window and not stick out; you just won’t be able to carry a really fat wad of low denomination bills.

Is the clip strong enough to clip the wallet to my front pants pocket tightly on the fabric (with wallet inside pocket and clip outside)?

Is it strong enough...yes...however not sure you would want to do this because the length of the clip is not really that long and could come unclipped from your pants. I think I understand what you are trying to do. It should work but exercise caution and you will have to pinch the clip every now and then to keep it tight/closed. Overall love the wallet and it has held up really well. Good luck.

really nice mini-wallet

I purchased this pocket wallet for my daughter for Christmas. My daughter can be quite particular. She is a minimalist! You should see her home 😊She was really pleased with this wallet! Made of real leather, by Timberland,nice dark brown color (her favorite color). Very durable. Very good price in comparison to others I seen. She told me she loves the wallet. I will buy this product again.

Works for bills and cards.

Overall it is a good combination of wallet & money clip. I would only have hoped that the stitching was better and the same color as the leather. White on black not such a good look.
