Very fiddley to work on the face ,but doable . no instructions you have to go online and to find the right instructions takes longer than building the car. Also does not come with batteries and the ones the tell you to get are hard to find on the net.(I still have not found them!)I have given it one star, because it will not work until I can find batteries.The idea is good and teaching programming with the add-on bits sounds like a way to learn.But!If they are easy to find. And if it works

Il prodotto è fisicamente di buona fattura ed esteticamente piacevole e attraente, ma la scheda Esp32 montata non raggiunge più di un metro di distanza con la connessione WiFi, quindi è inutilizzabile con l'APP da scaricare su smartphone o tablet. Ho chiesto aiuto al produttore ma ha risposto che non c'è soluzione se non quella di rimanere molto vicini al Freenove 4WD. Questo problema preclude ogni possibilità di guidare il robottino a distanza utilizzando le riprese della telecamera. Ho dovuto anche modificare il software di gestione delle velocità di movimento (avanti, indietro, dx, sx) perché il movimento risultava sempre alla massima velocità invece che essere progressivo.Sicuramente è un sistema didattico da cui imparare molte cose riguardanti Esp32.Per chi volesse altre informazioni sono a disposizione.

After receiving this great Freenove car kit, I downloaded its documentation file from their web site, as instructed.  After throwing a quick look at it, I quickly understood this kit is reaching a whole new level.  This kit was WAY better than what I was expecting.Instructions are easily downloadable from Freenove’s Web sire as very well instructed on the product’s box and on a small card inside the product. Instructions are very clear and easy to follow from start to finish. If you need guidance to build this great kit, Freenove’s support team is just an email away and are very quick to reply, taken in consideration the time difference, as they are in China. This kit is more an educational kit that a simple toy. If you want a turn-key already assemble toy, go to Walmart !! As for the batteries not being included, the product description clearly indicate, at several places, they are not included and easy to find on eBay, on Amazon or local battery stores. These are 18650, FLAT TOP, UNPROTECTED types (x2).Originally, I was to purchase this kit to give to my grand-son, but after reading through its manual, I think I’ll keep it for myself.  Hahaha !!  With Infra Red and WiFi control, along with camera live feed and collision avoidance, light tracking as well as line tracking systems, this is the very best kit I’ve been given to purchase.  And I can feel its quality, for it’s very well conceived.If you have a bit experience with MCUs, its assembly and coding is easy and will fascinate you.  However, if all this MCU jargon is new to you, this an ideal opportunity to start exploring this great micro-controller world.  We are in the 21st century and the future is filled with these fascinating new chips.  All sketches (programming code) are included and could be modified at will.I have built many kits in my life and I never stumbled across a kit that complete and that documented.  All documentation, data sheets and more are included for each sensor and external devices included in this great kit.  Freenove really brought electronic kit building to a higher level.Your robotic experience will grow with each step of the kit assembly, as each assembly steps and its code are very well explained, to capture your attention and will keep you anticipating the next building step.  This experience brings kit building to a whole new level.  I strongly recommend this exciting ESP32 Remote Controlled 4WD Car Kit to everyone who wants to experience a new exciting experience in electronic and kit building.

Il kit è bello e facile da costruire. Ha varie possibilità di controllo e soprattutto di programmazione. Un bel esercizio di meccanica e ha possibilità di espansione e personalizzazione tramite la piattaforma Arduino. Lo consiglio perchè attraverso il gioco si porta il ragazzo, di almeno 10, a scoprire questo bellissimo mondo.Lo consiglio vivamente. Non ho messo il massimo di stelle per problemi con alcuni pezzi che comunque l'assistenza (in inglese come il manuale) ha prontamente risolto.

Kit recomendable para todos aquellos que disfruten aprendiendo, ideal para dar los primeros pasos en programación, tanto con el IDE de Arduino como con el de ESP32. Con manuales de montaje y programación en Arduino y MicroPython.Algo importante a tener en cuenta es que ante cualquier duda, la respuesta del fabricante es rápida y concisa. No lo considero un juguete, sino una herramienta útil para entrenar y dar los primeros pasos en éste mundo de la programación de pequeños "robots". Como en todo hay que dedicarle tiempo, pero ya digo que ante cualquier duda el equipo desarrollador responde.
