I've been using these for about 3 months. Pretty much daily since every day is Taco Tuesday. Main reason for the purchase was to ensure a good long life out of my non-stick pans. These are nice and stiff, which is exactly what I was after. Would purchase again. No side effects from washing them in the dishwasher and my pans are looking good as new.

I'm frozen with indecision. The spoons arrived well-packaged, in an absurdly wasteful, oversized box that looked like it had been used as a soccer ball -- likely because the spoons are heavy, so were tossed in a heavier weight cardboard box, but because they were the ONLY content, the box looked to have been caved in where there was just empty box. Note to Amazon: Save resources & pack smarter.On to the spoons.Pro: Visually, they just lift your mood, like a box of new Crayola crayons in childhood. The colors are deep, bright, and fun. The length is nice and long, they feel sturdy, and have some weight to them, which is nice in an implement.Con: These are not an updated version of traditional wooden mixing spoons, which is what I'd hoped to replace with these spoons. There is a thick lip to the spoons, and rather than almost flat, the spoon end is concave -- great to taste something, I suppose, but I can easily envision chocolate chip cookie batter and the like caking the spoon during mixing. It's annoying to keep scraping a spoon, which is why, usually, they are fairly flat and not intended to hold any volume.Thus, it is difficult to decide what to do with these spoons that look nice, have a good length, are comfortable to hold, but, function-wise, are they going to serve their intended purpose? I just don't know...I've snapped a few pictures of the product's YELLOW spoon.The BLUE spoon is one I already own, and fairly flat. I use it endlessly, which is why had hoped to buy more of the same.I've tried to capture the concave aspect which is causing me to question whether to keep these. They seem better suited for use in non-stick potware where can't use metal... But, I was buying MIXING spoons, not cooking utensils...

I love the bright colors, the heat resistance (several of my old plastic spoons partially melted when I was cooking with oil!), and the fact that these spoons are dishwasher-safe. They're also really comfortable in my hand and a lot sturdier than the spoons I was replacing. At first I was worried because these spoons have a deeper head than my old ones, so I was afraid lots of food would get caught in there and it would be a huge pain. Food does get caught in there, but it's not nearly the annoyance I thought it would be.

I am in the process of replacing all my old kitchen utensils with silicon utensils. I have found that silicon utensils work best for me. These spoons are extremely well made. They are heat resistant They don’t interact with the food you are cooking. They are very easy to clean. They happen to be very pretty.
