Natural curls loved it
I have thick, long hair that has a natural curl to it. This product helped relieve my dry scalp and made my curls so much more defined and feel very hydrated.

Doesn’t smell bad but doesn’t smell good either….
The smell of this isn’t for me. I gave it to my daughter. She has thick curly hair. I didn’t notice a difference in her curls after using this jelly mask. It might not be heavy/moisturizing enough for her hair. She’s going to use it as a leave in conditioner after she washes her hair. I like how authentic beauty concepts has clean natural products. In my opinion this product isn’t worth the price. Im giving it 3 stars because I believe it would be a good product for someone that has finer hair.

Ended-up really liking this
As much as I love Authentic Beauty Concept, I gotta say I doubted this mask before using it. I don't recall ever using a jelly-type mask for my hair before and didn't really get the concept of what would make the jelly any different from a cream mask. Honestly, I don't necessarily feel it's much different overall, compared to a cream mask, but that doesn't mean it's any less effective or likeable either. Right away it feels great on my dry scalp. Very soothing and refreshing feel. I have thick, coarse, medium-long length hair. I also find it very hydrating- resulting in a healthy boost to the appearance and feel of my hair. I love the scent of it - also refreshing and a bit sweet. Plus, it's lasting and lingers throughout the day.

Damaged my hair
This hair mask is just awful. It actually made my hair feel worse. I was really interested in trying it because I'd never heard of a jelly mask before. I guess there's a good reason conditioning masks are usually a creamy texture and not like a gel. It was very hard to apply and I had to use quite a bit to cover my hair. It had a pretty strong scent which I did actually like. I let it sit for about ten minutes and rinsed. My hair felt so brittle and dry and I couldn't even brush through it. I had to get back in the shower and use conditioner and it felt a bit better, but still not as good as it did before. I never would've thought that a hydrating mask would do damage to my hair, I always just thought that the worst that could happen is that it wouldn't work so well. Now I'm scared to try new products, especially from Authentic Beauty. I am really upset. I can't believe that this actually got tested on someone and they decided that this was an ok product to sell.

hydrating jelly mask
I found this jelly mask to be troublesome for my hair. I have oily scalp with occasional buildup. I like other reviewers tried to apply just to scalp, and to the ends. I found the mask to be too harsh and it felt like it stripped my hair and left it squeaky clean (not in a good way). It didn't do anything for my scalp, maybe more aimed towards dry itchy scalps, but it did make my ends feel softer. The instructions for this were a little confusing because it says to use after shampoo but doesn't mention anything about conditioner. The first few times I omitted the conditioner but didn't like not having that silky feeling of soft hair. So I've tried conditioner and leave in conditioner and those really help give hair the softness it was missing. For me, this was a decent treatment for the ends of my hair, but was just too stripping for the rest of my hair. I prefer to just stay with leave in treatments that I dont have to use on one section or the other.

Interesting stuff! Love the smell & shiny hair
I was intrigued by this because they claim it can help moisturize your scalp and hair. My scalp has gotten dryer and dryer as I’ve gotten older (just turned 40), but my hair is also dry and looks brittle and frazzled. I typically use Authentic Beauty Concept’s deep conditioning mask, but sometimes that’s too heavy. This looks and feels like a clear gel. It cools my scalp down when I apply it, and really hydrates it! I’m not sure how I feel about it as a conditioner. I’m still confused as to wether this is a replacement for conditioner or if you use it alongside one. When I use it by itself, my hair feels a little straw-like when wet (like it’s super squeaky clean); it doesn’t get that buttery feel conditioner usually provides. I can still detangle my hair but it’s a little tough. What I started doing is applying this, letting it sit for 5-7 minutes, then apply a richer conditioner to the middle and ends of my hair (on top of this). I let it sit for a few more minutes and comb it through before rinsing. It works! My hair gets SO SHINY! Almost like I went to the salon and had a shine treatment or toner applied. My hair isn’t weighed down, and feels so soft.My favorite part is the scent. It’s their signature scent and needs to be bottled up as a perfume! I absolutely love it, yet can’t quite pinpoint what it smells like. I’d consider it unisex but also a little floral. If you need shiny hair, try this!! Dry scalp? Try this! ☺️

Amazing product
I have very very dry hair ever since my son was born. I’m always looking for something to help so thought I’d try this. I’ve only used it once but my hair already feels healthier and my scalp is so refreshed! The scent is subtle but soooo nice, like a high end product they’d use at a salon. It had a thick jelly like texture that is really easy to apply and spread through your hair. I used a good amount and I have a TON Of hair, but the jar still looks pretty full. I’d figure I’ll get 4-5 more uses out of it. I clipped my hair up and waited 10 minutes. After that my hair looked something like I had gelled it. I was worried it would be hard to rinse out but it wasn’t at all! Followed with shampoo and conditioner and my hair feels great. Very happy with this product.I hope you found this review helpful!

I'd probably skip this one from authentic beauty
I actually didn't like thus hair mask. Didn't make my hair feel any softer or hydrated. I thought the jelly aspect sounded interesting, but I'll most definitely be sticking with cream hair masks from now on.
